I always envisioned the twin secondary hull (and shuttle deck) ships of this type to have the shuttle tender/troop transport/planetary assault role (though of course Starfleet would use the unglamorous foremost class description, shuttle tender, because "carrier vessel" has too warlike of a connotation to it. Klingons would of course call it a carrier.) It's too early for runabouts, but warpsleds on the other hand are possible, and would be more convenient to store, maybe enough units for 1/3 to 1/2 of the shuttle complement, and only pulled out and bolted on when needed. A ship with those auxiliary craft could serve as a mobile hub for courier operations, for intel too sensitive to trust to encryption and subspace broadcast. Dedicated fightercraft, while reasonable for something like the SFB alternate universe are to warlike for Prime or Kelvin-verses, IMO.

Würden Sie dahingehend mal eine Schiffklasse entwerfen die nicht nur föderation und Klingonische Technologie aufweist sondern auch die der Romulaner? Photography (Fashion) and digital and hand drawing scifi art (ships designing my own universe right now). I had a client take images I did and adulterated them without asking I was not happy. (Hoping I can partner up or might higher a person who can do CGI animation for the ships I've designed)
