the poor biker was minding his own business on pie & taken down by him , lucky cam vehicle driver Bobby Escobar was quick witted and decided to chase him down.
the driver tried to hide in the bukit timah esso petrol station. when confronted tried to drive off and hit a ComfortDelGro Taxi.

@@forgetmyname5166 - yes, in any case of hit and run accident, the law should assume that the hit and run driver was drunk and driving under the influence of liquor that cause him/her to lose his control of his vehicle. Running away from the scene after hitting someone can save the drunk-driver from being charged for driving under the influence of liquor. Even if caught the next day or a few hours later, the liquor might not show up in his/her blood. Thats why drivers who refuse or failed to stop after hitting someone else on the road should by default be charged with an additional charge of drink-driving. Unfortunately our mickey-mouse traffic act is always so stupidly lenient towards drivers caught driving while under influence of liquor. To the law makers, no people dies in the accident means its not serious enough.

But who cares ?? our laws are so bloody inefficient that no body really give a damn, just see how many cases of drivers caught driving after drinking. See what kind of kachang-puteh penalties they were given after being convicted in the Courts. Accidents caused by drivers driving after drinking WILL NEVER BE CONTAINED unless our law makers really wake up to review and up the penalties for drivers convicted for drink driving. Similar review should be done to the law relating to domestic helper torturing to give more protection to our domestic helpers.

As a phv driver , drunk driving involve in injury case accident and failing to stop and rendered assistance confirm kana few charges, revoke licence , go court, plus jail term and don’t think of driving for income anymore. Yes I like this. A drunk driver banged my car. When I claimed insurance, the insurance say "we will not be using drunk driving as the reason, because we cannot claim the money". I say WHAT? Better still, I called police, and on the phone police asked me "to avoid him" as far as possible, and no police need to be there. What? Only after I wrote in to newspaper, police wrote an apology letter and published in Straits Times.
