One thing that really struck me about what khabib said is he's always engaging his leg muscles to keep them pinned especially in mount. Having tried it, it's a really weird muscle that's working and I would say unless you've trained it for a very long time. They will tire fast or not be strong enough to grip the opponent

Loved the breakdown!! I’ve also noticed that he sometimes throw the opponent to the fence, if the opp decides to run away from him, while he is on the ground. Vs Micheal Johnson/ rda/poirier. A gangsta move 😂

He also grabs the guys wrist .. so he can’t get up . He then strikes with the right ( in this demo )

was wondering if anybody knows how he gets the opponents feet to cross over eachother when he locks the figure four with his legs

For the most part that happens by chance, it could be from the opponent trying to escape causing them to cross, could be khabib manipulating them with his legs. That's a tough one to know, his main focus is to get those legs wrapped up and controlled.
