Thank you! I was just given 1,000 once fired hulls. Some had rolled around in the game pouch for a while and I was wondering how to go about cleaning them. Love your videos.

Nice video man. I just got myself a giant box of once fired 24 gauge hulls a couple weeks ago and just finished going through them. Been doing some 10 pellet #1 buckshot loads and some slugs. I recently did a 28 gauge video too with #4 buckshot. We load the pattern test every gauge on my channel, 10 down to 410 including the oddball 24 and 32 gauges.

Thank you for the videos, just getting into reloading, and I need all the help I can get!

Thanks for the videos! I saw you using pliers to open your crimps up. I had a few string level plumb bobs, and those work great for opening up crimps. BPI makes the little primer pocket conditioning tool, it's like a little punch that I have been using. It won't be 10 years to 1000 subs. The little gauges are catching too much fire with bismuth and TSS gaining traction.

Hmm...plumb bob would be just about right. Thanks for watching and the encouragement.

The Armor All trick, new one on me and makes sense.. gave me one of those "Why didn't I think of that!" Moments lol.. Especially since I use acetone to clean my hulls.. Good vid. 👍🏻👍🏻

I mentioned in a previous video I had just purchased a Remington premier in 28 guage and was looking fur a reloaded for it. Since I have a 366 in 12 and a Mac 650 in 20. I thought it would be best to stay with either one. But John Abbot had a PW 800 plus for a excellent price. Came ready to swap out the top heads with 12, 20, 28, and .410. Guess I have a 366 & 650 for sale now!😈

Great video man..!!! I hadn’t seen anyone do a clean and prep that showed the armour-all tip before. Thanks I’ll use that next week on a batch of 10ga federal hulls I have to do. I don’t actually load 28ga yet. I have to gather things up slowly as I can… I’m sure you’ve been there.

It takes time but lord does it eventually stack up...LOL Good luck on the 10ga. Thanks for watching!

How do you clean the inside of the hull. When I insert the primer there seams to be dirt or something blocking the primer.

I am loading 28 ga HS hulls and it seems the length needs to be very consistent to get nice crimps. with my MEC 650.
@bullet225ho Жыл бұрын
Yes that is true. The AA-HS hull has known to be a little bit different in length. I just sat down one rainy day and sorted all mine by length best I could. Load all same length and when they are done I move to the next length and adjust press.

I think you are to use nobel or rio primer in the feocchi hulls.
@bullet225ho Жыл бұрын
Nobel primer is basically a Cheddite primer. Rio primer is much larger than a Fiocchi primer.
@toronadogofast7868 Жыл бұрын
My son wanted to try and load Rio shells. I didn't want another hull lying around and make up load data, but said go ahead as long as you don't mage any adjustments to the 366. The primers for tight and it took the sage loads as the federal hulls we were doing. Was using Nobel sport primers.

What is the purpose of the armor all on the hull? To help extend the life of the hull so it doesn’t split/ get brittle as fast, or does it just seem to run through a loader smoother?
@bullet225ho2 жыл бұрын
I use it to clean up the hull. It does seem to soften the plastic a touch. It does slicken it up a bit when going through the crimp process.

This doesn’t really have anything to do with this particular video. But do you have any Load Data for a 28ga. 1 5/8oz TSS Turkey Load that you’d care to share. If not where can I find this Load Data? Thanks in advance for your time and help.
@bullet225ho9 ай бұрын
Yes, It's on my website. bullet225ho.com click on load data and then 28ga data. It's in there.
