Try using the Easy Clutch from Pro Spec perfomance parts, as they use a pully method to ease out the force required to activate the clutch and while you are checking them look for their Easy brake pedal too. Using the Easy Brake for more than a year and it increases the surface area for the rear brake pedal and can be helpful while riding with boots on and while standing through trials.

Hey Amal, after watching some reviews and checking out the product I decided to give it a try. It should arrive in a few weeks hopefully. I’ll be sure to do a review on the product as well 👍. Thanks for recommendation!

Nice video, thanks for putting it together. My kit came with both the cable bracket upside down and the rod orientation wrong so your heads up saved me wondering WTF for a while!

Thanks! Yes, I saw this on another video and made sure to include it in mine as well.

Great video! Super helpful - I installed mine yesterday. I wanted to resolve the issue where the engagement point on my '22 was too far from the bar - almost all the way out. Was super annoying. This mod completely resolved that issue! Funny yhing on mine though, was I already had both nuts on the side toward the handle. I was thinking WTF until I saw you swap yours as you re-assembled! phew! Last thing - reading your replies here, I'll check out Pro Spec and that other video of yours. Thx again

Hey thank a lot. Always cheers me up to hear my videos helped someone out. The prospec is great, really a game changer if you struggle with tendonitis like I do.

Yeah, definitely change the clutch hand lever. Excellent upgrade to day the least. I wish I could have on my bike as well 😊

Thanks Berserker. I think I may give these easy clutch a try. It looks pretty legit. I’ll be posting a video at some point about it.

Thank you. Stick around, I’ll be putting on a fulcrum clutch lever in a few weeks, should drastically improve lever performance (I’m hoping and based on reviews I’ve seen).

Thanks Guy. It does decrease the resistance slightly, but not a whole lot.
Oh that’s great! Yeah, it makes it a little easier for sure, thanks Nokotanu as always 👍.

Great install, Are you experiencing any stalling issues with the KTM 390 Adventure? If so, please let me know how to resolve this problem.
@advinjapan Жыл бұрын
Hey Arun, thank you for the comment. My bike is the 2021 model so I haven’t had much issues with stalling. I can offer a few solutions, but there really isn’t a fix-all solution. The ktm390, from what I understand, has a very rapid rpm drop off engineered into the bike so as to provide strong engine breaking when letting off the throttle. This has several advantages off-road as it can provide enhanced stopping power. That said, it can also cause stalling either due to a lack of low end power to keep the engine turning, or rider inexperience (not feathering the clutch properly). If this is the kind of stalling issues you’re experiencing, the following upgrades may help. 1. The fuelx lite fuel mapper may help with your stalling issues. This will provide a richer air-fuel mixer at lower RPMs. I have literally started my bike in 3rd gear with this upgrade. 2. A sprocket upgrade may help as well, either a larger rear sprocket or a smaller front (14tooth) sprocket may also address the low end power issues. Others have mentioned a faulty spark plug, so you may want to check that as well. Good luck!

Great video! I recently installed one on my bike and love how it changed the friction zone and clutch pull. My opinion is the original design should be like this. My only concern is the quality of the material, seems a lot less durable than the OEM. I'm nervous I'll be out on a ride and the rod breaking off in the case. Do you have an update on the reliability of this product over time? Have you taken it out and inspected the rod?

Great! Glad I could help. Now add the prospec easy clutch to that and you’re golden🤣. Absolutely ZERO problems from this, still installed. It’s CNC machined aluminum, very well built, imo. Nice NCN makes great stuff.

Great install video. I like the attention to detail. But, my god, putting an impact wrench on a 390 Adventure bolt... Taking a real risk there. Personally I find the clutch to be quite light on the 390. I just spent time stuck in traffic on a 790 and my clutch hand is killing me. - Frank
@advinjapan Жыл бұрын
Thanks Frank. Hehe, yup, just love taps if you use an impact 😉. Yes, I agree, the clutch lever is pretty easy to operate with two fingers, but one finger is arguably difficult, which is why I wanted to give this a try. That said, while this product does smoothen the operation, it’s still pretty hard single finger. I was just recommended RCBs hydraulic clutch. I’m gonna switch out the levers anyway so I may go with that next. 👍

@@advinjapan Hydraulic clutch levers can make it lighter, but i think it may impact on clutch life as it is slightly activated
