2G GSX's will forever hold a special place in my heart. I was furious when a Titanium Pearl one popped up for sale just 2 weeks after getting my Titanium 3g :( Totally unmolested as well with only 75k on the clock QQ I begged my parents relentlessly to let me trade my 3g in on it and cover the difference but Mom said no :(

I know it's 5 years later but your timing belt it to tight. Or you have a bad bearing. Mine made the same noise when that happened to me.
@jdxnc04 Жыл бұрын
If that were the case I would think something would happen in 5 years of use....nope still fine cause it's not.

Great video bro......very professional way to test out a product. By the way i love the car bro....... I have a Integra (black) with a b18c5 TYPE R swap . its set up N/A tuned on 91 pump gas with just standard bolt on's ( intake , DC header , full exhaust system ) dyno tuned making 220whp. I would love to boost it . its got very high compression so im looking at low boost like 4lbs psi. With eagle rods & ARP head studs. Im only looking to get 300hp - 350hp to the wheels no more then 400whp. After that im looking for a new project ( im keeping the. Cars i build ) im either going to get a Honda S2000 or a 1st gen talon tsi / eclipse gsx or a 2nd gen eclipse gst or gsx / talon turbo or TSI awd ( i hate the talon spoiler lol im going to get a eclipse " whale tail " spoiler if i get a talon ) if i can't find a nice eclipse/talon im going to get a EVO 9

@headlesnorseman7015 жыл бұрын
Just buy a gsx donor car and start swapping the parts. It won’t be quick or cheap but it will become apparent what you have to do once it’s all in front of you

Great vid, thanks for this!! 👍 The Treadstone you have chosen is in my opinion to big, how is the turbo reacting? Do you note a bigger lag or something else? Thanks
@jdxnc046 жыл бұрын
It's a perfect match to my setup in my opinion. With the turbo upgrades and intercooler I'm seeing quicker spool than I did before and the car ran the same trap speed with 5 psi less boost.
@DrSiech6 жыл бұрын
Jason Drew's DSM Thanks for the anwer! So I can go with the bigger intercooler. I guess I‘m going with the 1035 for my 400whp car 🤘 What for a Turbo is mounted?

Hey. Tell me please. For some reason, on the threadstone website, this TR1045 intercooler in the photo does not have such pipes as yours, that is, there are not images not welded, but you have welded ones? Are you satisfied with the effectiveness of this intercooler?
@jdxnc045 жыл бұрын
I bought mine through MAP, it shows them cast in too but maybe it's an old stock photo: www.maperformance.com/products/treadstone-4-5-intercooler-tr1045 It's been great, 10x better than my old core.

@rabbon-ithegenesis71696 жыл бұрын
👍
@jinsc95966 жыл бұрын
so... if you were going to pull the crash bar anyway.. why did you not just remove it and the bumper as one complete piece and save the struggle of fighting with the bolts under the headlights? I also don't understand why 'some idiot' putting those bolts back in place is a bad thing... you do realize that those bolts and the brackets that are used to hold the bumper to the crash bar are there to prevent sagging right?
@jdxnc046 жыл бұрын
I guess you didn't catch my sarcasm, "some idiot" was me. I didn't remember putting that bolt back in there. I think you'll notice I have a good mind on what keeps the bumper from sagging, as mine doesn't have any and I kept the crash beam.
