Hey Sarah, have you considered cutting your own hair? Or, letting Kyuho do it? It’s easy; I have hair like yours but also have bangs. Ive had everyone cut my hair, for decades. And ive saved a stunning amount of money. Here ‘s how: after you wash it, pull it straight back, have K comb it down from the crown in a straight line across your back. Tell him how many inches you want to cut off, and he should cut straight across. Then comb through again and trim it even. To review, comb all your hair forward and then comb it to the back again, forming a straight line across your back. Trim to even. Voila! If you want to feather the front edges, you can do so then. Let me know what you think of this idea😉🤗. Love your new cardigan. I love the earlier gray one with the gathered sleeves too.

First thing I noticed about the coffee table was the vertical space inside of it. So not only do you get a couch sitting table, but also more storage which you know is critical for small living spaces. Looks like a great buy to me! Looking forward to some Canada videos soon!

WOWWW Love the interior of the salon! Honestly, when I was still considering a couch (apartment is too small), I was looking for those kinds of coffee tables! My work office has it in the sofa space downstairs and its really great for eating or working on the computer from the couch instead of the floor.

Thank you so much for watching ☺️ Compared to Nova Scotia, I feeling like the temperatures in Seoul can get just as cold tbh. Nova Scotia doesn’t get those -40 temps like the Midwest since it’s close to the ocean, but around -18 or so with the windchill can occur in both N.S and Korea. The only big difference is, there’s rarely snow/precipitation in Seoul during the winter, but N.S. can get quite a bit.

I went through a period of around ten years where I wasn’t motivated to read. I was burnt out from university, then the first English academy that I worked at in Korea. I used to read every single night until I was around 18 years old, and resumed this habit maybe a year or two ago to help my quality of sleep (I always read before going to bed). It helps me fall asleep better, AND I’ve got my hobby back 📚 Maybe take a peek through Goodreads and find something in a genre that you really love that has great reviews :)

I know you are not the biggest K-Drama watcher but looking at your book recommendation I feel like you'd like the series "Crash landing on you". It's a South Korean woman crash landing in North Korea and this soldier is helping her out to hide and get back to SK. I always felt so nervous that she'd get caught by the higher ups. It has a romantic aspect but also this funny NK soldier gang. It's also heart-wrenching and thrilling and some scenes are in Switzerland so it has the nicest views. I can recommend it :)

I think you could check whether Canada has some korean stores, that way you would not need to bring all of the cooking materials and snacks. In Hungary (Europe), we have k-mart (kind of like convenience store) and you can find all of the ingredients there, even kimchi and ramen, ice cream, baking/cooking materials, everything! :) prices might be a bit higher compared to Korea but it might worth it compared to bringing everything on long-haul flight~

Nova Scotia isn’t like Toronto on Vancouver in that sense. There are maybe 1-2 very small Korean marts, but the variety is nowhere near what you’d find here in Seoul, and it would be way more expensive as well. Plus, we only need mini sized ingredients, which we can easily buy at Daiso :)

I had fat repositioning and a little bit of fat grafting under my eyes :) The fat ‘bulge’ that used to sit under my hollow area has been repositioned to fill the hollow area better, and it looks so much better than it used to. A bit of the fat grafting faded a bit, but that’s normal after a few years :)

The Alice Network is the first book I read by Kate Quinn, and OH my gosh, I REALLY recommend it along with Crying in H Mart and Beautiful Country. I enjoyed all of these books so much! 📚

OMG, I love, love, love the new coffee table. I've seen those lift tables before (one of my pet sitting clients has one). Enjoy it. Sarah, Is there an H-Mart near your parents? If so, is it still cheaper to buy Korean food items in Korea and pack them for your trip? I'm wondering about the cost of an extra suitcase or box since I've heard (and it may not be true for all airlines) that more and more airlines are charging more for extra baggage and allowing less carryon luggage. One day I'll give in and buy something from Ana Luisa. I have so little jewelry because I really don't wear anything. But my style is so similar to yours. I prefer smaller, simpler pieces.

There’s definitely no H Mart in Nova Scotia unfortunately 😅 There are a couple of small Korean marts, but they don’t have beer the variety as here-and it’s more expensive. Air Canada allows two large checked bags each for free :) I always gravitate towards smaller, simpler pieces too! Something that you can wear on the daily :)

@@2hearts1seoul Ah, I see. H-Mart is almost an hour's drive from me (fortunately, it's in the same town as my mom so I can visit Mom and shop). The stores that are closer are Asian marts... small and limited in what is Korean. Still good in a pinch, but I prefer H-Mart... prices slightly better and way more of a selection.

Woah, thank you so much 😳 I limit the amount of foundation, always double cleanse (cleansing oil first, then gentle foam cleanser), and have been using more vitamin c in my skincare products (hellooo, Medicube’s Deep Vita C Line!) 😊

I do not know what part of Canada you are heading to. but better check if the products you buy are available wherever you go. I notice some of the products you are buying that I can buy over here, I am in the Toronto area and Korean products are easily available.

There is a small Korean mart or two in Halifax, but the products are quite a bit more expensive and they’re full-sized while we only need mini-sized amounts :)
