I’m in my third year of my apprenticeship and have dug up loads of content and learned loads from caleffi magazine. I’ve explained CCT’s to engineers in my area and no one has a clue what I’m on about. Great content as always bud!

Thank you very much. Good to keep educating yourself and you sound pretty knowledgeable for an apprentice 👍👍

Absolutely! I try use my extra time as productive as I can. Once qualified, I’ll be looking to take the heat loss training, then proceed with the heat geek course.

@@ryanthornborough1820 I'm tempted to do it my self but it is pricey for a online course. Plus I do think people get too serious about hydronics. Just multiple people trying to out smart each other. My advice is to master the pipe bender....... It will always be the difference. 😉👍

Haha I normally just fluke a bend 😅 If you feel you have got bending down to a tee, please upload a tutorial on KZbin if you have a little time on your hands 🙏

Couple things to note, firstly last time I attended a site where the Gas Meter was installed like that it has been capped off due to access (meter had to be moved externally at home owners cost). Second normally with close couple tee's we size up to reduce turbulence. It's one where I know Worcester wouldn't want to attend to the boiler. Other than that really nice work from you guys as usual, just shame the builder buggered you over.

Thanks for the comment . In all honesty the meter isn't actually as bad as it looks, it's pretty accessible but I was concerned we would have to scrap the whole thing 😂. I have looked into upsizing the close coupled Tee's but I think the difference is so minimal I'm not sure it's worth doing, but no harm in doing so. Thanks 👍👍

Fair play mate , looking at that would have scared me off the job , you've got bigger balls than me !!!!

I wasn't overly happy when I arrived to see the cupboard half the size 😂. You do what you gotta do I guess and try and have a laugh . Thanks 👍

Nice work as always guys. I'm an adult L2 changing career to be a plumber. These systems always take me a bit to get my head round. 😂 All about experience. I prefer a swirl torch and butane gas for normal size pipework myself. 👍 Your soldering is mint though. 💪
@loving-plumbing Жыл бұрын
Everyday is a school day. I definitely prefer the swirl as it's pretty pin point accurate. But Bailey's is way quicker to reach temperature. Thanks for watching.

is the close coupled tee not meant to be one size bigger? So, 28mm instead of 22mm?

All that cement dropping down would drive me mad , I'd probably be packing my tools in the van. No wonder people don't like working for builders. They couldn't be bothered to get a mist coat on the walls.
@loving-plumbing Жыл бұрын
Yeah it was definitely pretty frustrating . Always the same on building sites. Luckily the builder is a top bloke so il let him off. 😂
