One mans rubbish is another mans treasure. The unit itself is well worth the £50 - I'm sure many men here would spend a lot of time restoring it so that it becomes a mini man cave. The treasures inside, most men will be interested in all the bits and bobs there. The steel tubes from 1974 alone are worth the watch.

The headphones are for a BT exchange judging by the old Post office plug. The red lights look like the ones used for telephone ringers for noisy environments and deaf people. The ceramic capacitors are likely for interference suppression on telephone lines they will be for something like 15pF (pico farad).

Those round stone like rings are used as PROTECTORS for around each “pop-up” sprinkler. These keep the thin plastic sprinkler heads from being broken off by the power lawnmower. On occasion the heads will not completely retract into the base, leaving some of the main sprinkler shaft exposed. Love your engine lift! Could I buy it?
