Apparently the servers are actually still up, but only on the Origin version of the game (disc version is busted though) Jerma needs to get off his butt and call EA customer service to get his free Origin copy. The first time I played Spore, I also quit at tribal because my tiny toddler ape brain couldn't figure out that right clicking moved the tribe members as child me didn't and couldn't read the tutorial so all of my tribe members starved. I came back a couple months ago and found my old save and finally beat Spore with a flesh stick that had meaty weapons embedded in it. :,)
