I have very similar wedge carry distances. 50-120, 54-108, 58-94 but have way less club speed and less spin.

To be fair, I don't think I'd ever do a wedge fitting, of any sort, indoors off a mat. As a club category where 'turf interaction' and bounce is so vital, and also as a scoring club, it would seem to dismiss the importance of all the different sole grinds available.....when there is no turf for the sole to interact with? Personally this is a fitting to be done with all the same monitoring equipment but from turf in my opinion.....

Good for gapping. But why no discussion around shots around green. By weakening the 56 you added more bounce. I think that is a fact that needs discussed before just weakening.

Discussion on bounce and grinds should be part of a wedge fitting session not a wedge gapping session. Which reminds me I need to book a wedge fitting session as a couple are getting a little old

Order from Mizuno and pretty they pretty much have every bounce angle and every wedge loft. I have 50/8. 55/ 12 and 2 x 60deg wedges with 6deg and 10 deg bounce for summer and winter. 55/12 as bounce for bunkers. 50/8 is more for full shots. The 60/6 is for summer perth conditions and gets massive amounts of spin. Too much.

One could have five wedges in WITB if you include a 42-44 degree PW. But certainly many or most bags have three wedges 50° and higher. Of these wedges one needs to decide which ones are primarily full shot clubs and which ones are short game clubs where one will often open up the clubface or manipulate bounce, etc. This will determine what type of grind and bounce combination is best suited for you.

So similar to the decision where to transition from irons to hybrids, the same applies to specialist wedges and set wedges. For many golfers this transition and decision is often at the 48-52° approach/gap wedge lofting.
