And a small, more limited world to explore. Even though you can still play the old versions. Seeing these videos really brings back memories

looking back, I get the impression that these guys were fully aware that what they had was special. They probably got so much work done sitting together making this game a reality out of what we know was pure passion. The thought of a singular game being sold for $2bn is still unheard of, and not many can say they wouldn’t have done what Notch did. But nonetheless I do still look back on this time with nostalgia and intense fondness. At the end of the day these guys were the reason Minecraft became the best selling game of all time, and left their legacy on the game.

It's funny, I am watching this again in 2018. To realize that coral was a suggestion since 2011 and is now being added into the new 1.13 update. More so it's funny how people talk about first person shooters and so forth... when in all honesty minecraft can be a first person shooter it can be anything you want it to be... that is what makes it one of the greatest games ever made.

Incorrect, Herobrine is a messed up code, where the orginal design for the Villager was the Steve, and one single digit left in the coding ended up keeping that old design. That error made it where the "herobrine" would go after the player and try to kill the player, and because it was an error it was rare to see him, but it was fixed at some point. Though this error was found by those who mess with the oldest versions of MC, and probably used to make Herobrine mods and plugins.

Dracathio And yet, I spend all the times playing the old MC games-No such thing as Herobrine, it was originally a joke from Markus Persson (Notch) , that he was a "dead brother" when 2 people (probably friends),claimed to see a figure ( Steve ) with white eyes,therefore the joke goes on and on,Mark gets sick of how everyone keeps annoying him about out, yet he puts -Removed Herobrine in some updates, more of a inside joke. Between this time, in the coding, there would be random letters in the coding, just all enough to spell "Herobrine".But after all the commotion,Mark said it was all a joke, and there was never a real legit Herobrine "summoner" or anywhere in the codings to show proof of this besides the letters to spell it. Pretty much after that, he only jokes about it. There is no "glitch",there is no "single wrong digit" to make a villager into a "magical" Steve skin white white eyes, therefore you'd need a texture,and since it was from 2 random friends wanting attention of Mojang, Mojang couldn't just say "ya, lets just stick this in the game to give kids attention". Mark made the mistake of giving the kids the attention, and now the chain starts with rumors ,and videos claiming its not a mod, and creepy pastas and all that stuff. Therefore, finally to say, HEROBRINE IS NOT REAL, and umm,one more thing, do your research and playing before you post the crap you think is real onto the Internet. Proof: Wikipedia, Minecraft-Gamepedia, Minecraft Launcher-Past versions, Twitter of Notch, and looking into the codings of rumors that people say to appear to be true. Speech is done, enough said.

MrBlockBoy123 It was a friend of mine who did the research, who found the line of code that had the error in it. He messed around with that to see what would of happen. Also I didn't go mentioning anything about summoning him, or shit like that. I said there was coding that was corrupt in one of the older updates. Unless you tell me that you've played around with coding, have completely managed your own server, added bukkit and tweaked the plugins for bukkit for your server, played around with making your own custom anti virus program for your computer. I won't care what you say, because it means you really haven't gone into the coding of the game and checked things yourself, you just read articals [which tend to hide stuff from you, so people don't mess around with other things]. These two kids, may of actually seen it, but completely over exaggerated, and everything went out of perportion. Markus or Jeb probably found the bit of codding that they realized they missed, after the two kids got popular because of it, and fixed it within the next update; but did fuel the whole Herobrine thing afterwards for laughs.

So therefore itd be possible for villagers to randomly attack,which I don't think have ever been reported...so therefore I wouldnt think its real.Its the Herobrine mods that gets the shit going,people actually believing its real,and therefore telling the story.And then again,lets say herobrine was in the game but didn't have the skin,it wouldn't make sense to just randomly attack or just 'watch a player' from a distance,itd only be possible now to actually have a great mod just so itd be at the last block of a render distance,if you believe its real,or to randomly attack a play,but its what you don't know?Theres no proof in the code he exists,no coding for it to spawn an entity to later be named herobrine,and just randomly spawn and kill,and don't believe everything you see,because then theres photoshop,sound recordings,and some shit to add fog to make it look like a render distance,basically Photoshop. I just wouldn't believe its real,and in the whole herobrine hoax,or story you would say,theres not enough proof for it to be real,and now theres no going back,people can make mods,theres millions of players. You can only see whats in the code now,or what of might have been already deleted.

Notch left the decisions to jeb sometime in 2012, slowly opting out of development. But for some reference, he started working on it may 2009, and probably crunched through 2 years of development. At that point the game had made so much money he could retire if he wanted to.

Playing minecraft for the first time back in 2010 felt like magic to me, downloaded the demo and played there for almost a year!! beds werent implemented yet! imagine that, i accidentaly destroyed my entire house with lava, i was in front of a furnace and right clicked instead of left clicking and poured lava all over, i couldnt salvage anything. Then got the 360 version were you were limited to a map, the worlds size was limited to a map. I still play here and there with friends but man, watching this feels so nostalgic, i have so many fond memories about minecraft. The good ol' days!!
