Joe you say there was a month between you getting and stripping down the engine to find it's issues and this video, in that month could you not of cleaned all the associated parts that you would be refitting back on the engine? If I were a potential customer/buyer and came to look over one of your rebuilds, yes you have fixed any problems that it may of had, but if you were to clean the rest of the bike/quad/UTV it would show me that you have pride in your work making sure that everything else is clean and would make me more reassured that the vehicle was in tip top condition. Great content Joe, keep these projects coming.

I worked for mark degroff. Small motor building shop in the San Fernando Valley Los Angeles California. I was the grunt shop boy. Reproduced rebuilt motors and heads that looked brand new no residue left on them like that motor. By the time they had been pressed or washed. Hot Tanked. In and out of the parts washer and sandblasted. They look brand new like that head on top. We produce show Quality Motors for everyone. Nothing left our shop that dirty even if it was going into an old dirty vehicle. When you said it looked beautiful my boss would not let it leave the door like that. Different Strokes for different folks I'm not saying it isn't functional but there's no reason I could have been around the sandblaster over it and made it clean clean.
