I don't know why there are so many negative comments both on this video and the one about the 65. Thank you for giving a tour on these well designed, cozy ships, I enjoyed it a lot.

But looks like a covered flybridge he didn't point out that the tender comes with the boat with the lifting mechanism and it would be nice to see the engines my guess is that he didn't know that much about the boat

There was a broker showing the boat to some guests and they were near the entrance to the engine room while I was filming this video. I did not want to disturb them.

I respectfully disagree that I don't know what I'm talking about. However, I will admit I questioned even posting this video as I didn't feel it was my best work. It was nearly the end of the day and I was plain worn out mentally and physically. It is surprisingly taxing on oneself to cram gathering more than a dozen videos into 2 days in a hot and humid place. Not an excuse, rather an explanation.

There were some other people on the boat while I was filming and I did not want to be too intrusive to their time on board since they appeared to be clients of the broker. And I plan to start incorporating specs of the boats in my videos going forward!

@@TheBoatDude That would be great. I like to see the engine rooms to see if it's easy to get around the engines and check filters and other things.

@@JerseyLou engine rooms are one of my favorite parts of a boat to look at it. It's always disappointing when I don't get an opportunity to go in them, but I always want to do my best to be mindful of the clients since they're the ones spending their hard earned money - not me.

Prices have certainly been dropping last year and this year. For example a boat I filmed in 2021 was around $1.1M new then, the same model can be now purchased for under $1M new.

You have nothing to do with boats do you?? Which is fine, totally cool to just love this beautiful equipment, but say that in your video, youd get a lit more respect than trying to play it off that youre a broker or salesman of some sort. Never seen a grab rail before?!?!?!? Again, that wouldnt be a big deal for someone who just likes boats, went to a boat show and shot a fun video. But to name your channel "The Boat Dude"

@@danwhite6726 boat owner, boat lover, boat nerd, are all ways I'd describe myself. Sorry to disappoint. I had been on probably nearly 100 boats before this one. None of them had grab handles on the ceiling in the salon prior to me seeing this one. The purely pleasure vessels just don't have features like that, they are focused much more on the aesthetics.

I am just the messenger, the brokerage selling the boat sets the price. That said, Fleming has a rather niche market but they serve that clientele very well. They're well built boats that are meant to be operated continuously for extended periods and distances. Many other brands simply aren't built for the same use case as a Fleming.

At first glance, I can 100% understand that sentiment. However, the value in these boats lies in their quality and craftsmanship. They're designed to be used every single day for a year or two straight. Other brands of yachts that are aimed more at the typical "pleasure boater" may see a week or two of continuous use at a time and only a few times a year. This isn't a knock on other brands at all, just a statement that not all brands/kinds of boats have the same use case.
