That was a stunning video. What an immersive experience for all of us, to see the beauty that you've shared. That's what it's all about, isn't it? Camping. Seeing and appreciating the beauty that so many take for granted, or never even get the opportunity to experience. It's different than a fishing trip, or a canoe adventure. Just moving quietly from place to place and soaking it all in. Your visuals were, as usual, beautiful, and your own guitar playing was like honey binding it all together. I enjoyed this one immensely.

I'm not sure but I think the first portaging/ backcountry vid I watched was your brother's about 2 years ago. I used his knots a few weeks back. I've watched many more vids from multiple people. But I do like everyone's and the gear tips from people.

I just returned back from Noganosh myself and oddly enough camped at the very same spot you show in the first part of the video! Lol...too funny! Judging by the phase of the moon you show, you were there a week or so ago before me. The big dead pine tree beside your tent was cut down by me because of thunderstorm forecast. Yeah, someone took an axe to a bunch of live pine and hemlock trees there....not sure why the had to do it... The one or two trees right by the fire pit had chunks of bark chipped out by an axe so everytime we touched the tree we got sap on our hands and cursed the dude that did that.... hopefully not you! Lol....a positive note to that... I discovered my Lysol wipes takes sap off your hands!
