That where the Florida phase of ARMY Ranger school is, we conducted night patrols through the area, each night we crossed a water obstacle like that detour creek. Don’t be surprised if in the middle of night Hulu hear them trudging through the jungle. We used the fresh water to refill canteens with water purification tablets back then. Really glad to see older style content.

My daughter put the rain issue into perspective for me. She said, “Life doesn’t stop because it rains mom”. Changed my attitude completely. Plans can always be altered and turn out to be just as fun. It’s all about attitude.

ATV 12v sprayer for shower. I used to use one as a transfer tank for my camper. Remove spray nozzle and attach a shower head. Just a thought.

Trip I've watched a lot of your videos and they're great content. You have such a good attitude and always looks like your having a blast. No alcohol at least from what I've seen. In todays time its so common for people to need beer or alcohol to go have fun. I've been trying to just have pure joy and find happiness with just the adventure at hand and still have a wide smile across my face. What is your secret of just having such a genuinely positive outlook? Thanks and keep up the vids.!

It’s videos like this that inspired me to explore local waters and camp where ever I can find. Love this stuff. You may have opened a can worms with outfitting your truck for overlanding. Not sure how serious you want to get with it. But check out “overland bound”. They have a channel and also a community with resources and gear ideas. Especially water systems for sustained off grid travel. Just like any form of camping, there’s a whole wide world of products and gadgets to tailor to your specific needs or wants. I’m loving these simple adventures. And that “shortcut” was right up my alley. 🤙🏻

Would definitely like to see you do more of the river and springs stuff on the cayo or other small boats you may have access to. It would be awsome if you went to as many know springs in FL as you can but actually put the GPS coordinates in the info so others can find them too. Maybe a series starting way back and working your way from the NW corner as far south as you can reasonably get.
@TripSmith

What about a memory foam cut to truck size. Sheet sewn over it then you just roll it to store it. It will give you more sleeping bed room

Another fun one, at least from this side of the screen! Speaking of, do you have any plans to go to 1440p or even 4K? 1080p is good on a small screen but not as much on my 4K monitor.

Glad you enjoyed it Stephen!!!! I've thought about it but haven't dug deep enough to determine if I should or not. Once you go up the file sizes get quite a bit larger and computer time/power is tougher as well. Probably should give it a shot though. Just this second I set my camera to 2.7k for ya ;)

@@TripSmith Even if you upscale to 4k, or even 1440p I think, in your video editor when you export your video KZbin will give you a different/better video encoder with a higher bit rate than if you uploaded in 1080p.

Trip: Is that Flated thing worth it?
@TripSmith
@TripSmith 2 жыл бұрын
That depends Dr..... If you need one to be able to easily take on and off and store easily, then yes, I would say it's worth it. For my personal use I'd like one to stay permanently as I'd like to build out the interior for camping. For that reason, I'm looking to replace the FLATED topper. If you'd like to chat more or are interested in a deal on mine, we can chat ;)
