I am on a fasting for fat loss challenge. This is my first 72 hour fast of the year. Besides hoping to lose fat, I am hoping to reset my metabolism, insulin sensitivity, promote healing, and create stem cells. #fasting #3daywaterfast #autophagy #metabolismreset

Oh heck yes, been there w/the sweats & bubble gut~ though we call it "rumble-bum"~ same thing😅 After my first 3 day fast, I was smart & broke it w/broth~ not my homemade bone broth, mind you. Just some simple chicken broth, then a few hours later I ate a couple bacon wrapped chicken tenders & some more broth. Next day, normal food. Second 3 day fast, I also broke it w/broth, but homemade bone broth this time & oh my word was that a bad idea! Waaay too much fat & bone meal in that, especially since I simmer mine until most of the bone is mush. Had major rumble bum/bubble guts for hours & was sweaty/shaky uncomfortable for sure. Lesson learned. I don't have to be as careful w/2 day fasts, though I still keep it somewhat light. Sounds like you're cruising right along Kandi, & once a month seems good for me too, at least for the 3 day-ers. I usually do omad anyhow, so my current plan is to do one 2 day fast, every other week, & one 3 day every other month to see how that goes. I've been stuck @ 165 for way too long, after hitting 158 last year for awhile. Would love to see a solid, sustained 150, w/a couple lb fluctuation, which is normal. Haven't done any fasting for at least 6 months, so I'm excited to get back into it. Thanks for sharing your experience w/it. Sammy in AZ

Good idea about the broth versus bone broth. I will have to get some for my next fast. Good luck to you. I hope it helps break your stall.

Body always adjusts to stress by lowering metabolism as fasting is stress. Fasting+sauna+GYM = stress = adrenalin + cortisol = lowered metabolism, adrenal fatigue, hair loss, insomnia, low libido, hormonal unbalance, future weight gain...etc

There is so much conflicting info out there! I am trying to follow the protocol by Dr. Sean so hope I am not messing myself up more.

I would definitely drink electrolytes during your fast, it’s crucial. Also if you find a 72 hour fast isn’t for you, try PSMF= protein sparing modified fast. It preserves your muscles while losing fat. Have a great day!

I have done PSMF in the past. I will be adding that into the mix for sure. Thanks for the reminder.

I bought some kimchi from Costco. I was not happy with the ingredients. I have bought from Olive My Pickle and Fizzy Foods. I think they were pretty clean but can’t remember off the top of my head. I haven’t found any local made but would love to! I have made ferments. We should get together and make some!

you can make kimchi at home , I've made cavonoses with youtube videos from another part of the world by myself for the first time and I've been eating them all winter.😂 Moreover, it is quite easy to do and cheaper !

@@budeutsch I bet it is cheaper. For some reason, making kimchi intimidates me.
