Mostly a hook. Sometimes a block right. Rarely a slice (most of the time, the slice results from a fade attempt that is way overcooked)

Hey guys. My biggest issue with my driver is a big slice. Standing over the ball I know I need to keep the face closed. Even during a practice swing I will bring the club back to parallel keeping the club head closed. But when I eventually do tee off I feel the club head opens. Is this a case of me just wanting to smash my drive down the middle, so in a sense looking at power over technique. Cheers lads always love the content

Among the most common mistakes made by numerous golfers every year - Either continuing to hit their current driver or buying a new one in the belief that they must use that inherently challenging club regardless of how much better they can manage to consistently hit a fairway metal so much better from the tee.

Regarding the tee between the thumb and index to check one's grip - I use a similar technique when putting. My thumbs run down the middle of the grip and the index fingers down either side. Then I twist my forearms outward slightly enough the at can feel tension - this tension in each forearm counteracts the other and in turn is transferred to the putter - the result is little to no putter head wobble through the strike, and a far truer swing arc. As an unexpected 3rd benefit - I can judge the distance of a putt better. And I have confidence in sinking +-2 footers.

Advice on how to hit the drive that's into the wind off the left with OB or a hazard on the right. Harder to set up like that when your under those conditions. How do you adjust while trying to maintain those set up principles. You automatically feel like you want to get a bit on top of it and end up in the first stance position.

Hey guys! Can you do a swing analysis video on Matthew Wolff? I would argue he has the most unique swing since Jim Furyk and looks to do many things we as amateurs get told not to do (including a super steep swing arc). Think it would make for a really interesting video 👍

Mostly heel misses. Been working for quite a while to stop losing spine angle on the downswing and strike on the toe side. The feel of hitting it on the toe side is much more pleasing. Keeping the leading edge in line with the spine works for me with every club EXCEPT the driver. Whenever I do it properly, it leads to a severely descending blow with the driver. Brain freeze.

I checked the take away drill on the range today as i have always struggled with a open face. Looked at the video and my wrist was logo up so i worked on changing it and was astonished that it imediatly changed my ball flight to a right to left when i went logo down. My question is should i also do this with my irons takeaway also?
