Zoom out is better than previous preview options, but it still requires a page re-flow. If they would just make the side panels optionally floating, then we could have a permanent front end view without any stupid re-flow or visual interruption at all.

I hope in the future when a user wants to create a new page or posts, the template is shown by default so the user knows exactly where they're inputting content instead of in a blank space and then toggle "template preview" on/off. Will make it so much more easier imo.

Now with FSE, will the 2025 theme just be a new design compared to 2024 or will it also have new features/functionality that 2024 doesn't have?

I think it will mostly be the new patterns and templates once it launches.

I'd like to see WP move in the direction of making it easier to design websites. I use WP every day and have trained many people to use WP but designing sites in the block builder is so time consuming, slow and complex compared to page builders. It's very disappointing. The block builder settings are all over the place and getting blocks/content to line up is difficult.

Ok I won’t dislike but it’s time to stop wasting resources like this. No meaningful website makes use of any of the 2025 patterns and other than that any new core theme has nothing useful to offer.

For a moment I thought there will be something new in WP. But of course you are NOT talking about WP, your video is about Gutenberg. WP I guess will look as ugly as the last 10 years before.

My video is about 3 updates coming to 6.7 that are the most tangible to see right now. 1 is a complete theme (not really about Gutenberg) 1 is about the zoom out feature for building pages (Gutenberg) and the last is data views which is a core WordPress thing.
