Kristina, I just got back from the hospital as I have severe digestive and stomach issues as of recently...and to no surprise, the doctor diagnosed me as lactose and meat intolerant. He prescribed an immediate vegan diet with a primarily raw fruit and veggie base. I am so happy and equally shocked that a mainstream medicine practitioner in such a small meat and potatoes kind of town would recommend a vegan diet. I was vegan for years and as soon as I went back to a standard american diet, my body has had an increasingly large amount of issues. I love your videos and your entire raw food empire and I'm so glad that even though I don't know you personally, that I can feel like I will have you helping me along my journey in the next while. much love to you. ❤❤ your lifestyle will literally save my life.

Jasmine Leonard The reason you have an aversion to these things is because you had been vegan for years before. The doctor just connected the two. It's the same for people who go gluten free without celiac disease. Stay away from it long enough and once you try it again, it's going to cause all kinds of problems.

Hi Kristina, my name is Denise and I started my vegan journey on April 5th this year. My problem is that I did not lose much weight as I am a large women of well over 200 lbs. I don't miss eating meat, my problem is eating bread and potatoes which keep me bloated. Kristina!!!! Bless you for the time and trouble you take in coming up with new raw meals and sharing!! I think many people feel they can't eat "fruits and salads" every single day. I love ALL the recipes you shared but I really want to try the zoodles and marinara! I started following you in 2013 and have an incredible story to share. Too many details for this comment section but......I was eating almost fully raw three years ago. A major life event pulled the rug out from under me and I didn't want to eat, prepare food or think about shopping for it. I began eating a lot of quick, processed meals which of course made me feel worse. I lost a lot of weight in a short period of time (not in a healthy way). Again, too many details but within 1 1/2 years I was very sick. In my opinion prolonged, HIGH stress levels and poor food choices is what did it. I was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. Within a year and a few months a second, unrelated cancer diagnosis. Everything I could get my hands on to read or watch told me my diet and stress was the culprit. I'd never felt healthier or more energetic on a raw diet and decided it was time to get back to it! Believe it or not one of the first doctors I saw asked "you're not on any weird diet are you? Vegan, vegetarian or anything like that"? I couldn't believe it! (Of course if you get well they don't make money! )I'll stop there.......and thank you again so very much for the hard work you do to add variety and new ideas for us as well as putting yourself out there and being totally authentic. I know this is five months old but yes, I like the idea. I have been vegan since 2012 and a vegetarian 17 year prior. I slowly started cutting cooked foods out of my diet since I came across your video "What I Eat in a Work Day" a couple of weeks ago. I pretty much ate the same thing every day because it was easy to prepare. Now I have tried some of your recipes andI am enjoying the variety. Do you have plans to do a book tour in Atlanta? Thanks!

I am Currently eating the zucchini pasta right now...OMG! I absolutely love it. I ended up spiralizing 6 zucchini because it was just too saucy. I added some pesto seasonings and salt..BOMB. 2 out 3 of my kids liked it as well.. Next time I'm adding olives and may sprinkle some Nutrional yeast on top.
