I read inner engineering by sadhguru. I ate raw food of about 70% of the total plate. Within a week, my skin became clear. My eyes brightened. I lost about 12 kg in just one month. It was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible for me to continue because I was a college student and it took lots of efforts to arrange raw diet. But, trust me guys, it definitely will change your body and mind in a good way. Try it. It's worth it!

@palv11115 жыл бұрын
Exactly, Bro, laziness is nothing to make fun of, it is lack of energy within a person's body. Do you eat raw diet only or as Sadhguru suggests to eat 40%-50% raw and the rest of the food you eat must be cooked?
@luizlascasas22335 жыл бұрын
@@palv1111 well, at first I tried full raw but I think it's to risky without proprer personal guidance, and I think I am vata-pitta since I am naturally skinny. So I eat the pranic protein smoothie from Isha, and cooked grains, legumes, gently stir fried vegetables but I feel it is still not ideal.
@palv11115 жыл бұрын
@@luizlascasas2233 I am Indian, I have read about vata-pitta-kapha, but it confuses me so I don't follow it. And Sadhguru says 40%-50% of the diet has to be raw, so you are doing fine. I eat lentil soups, salads, seeds, nuts, lightly steamed vegetables. And as wheat flour is acidic, I make millet flour or gram flour pancakes with vegetables in them. There are many alkaline flours available in the market. 🙂

@btshash65324 жыл бұрын
@@devanshbhootra along the food chain, only 10 percent of energy is transferred to the next tropic level. For example- if a certain amount of grass contains 1000J of energy, when consumed by a herbivore, only 100J of energy is received by the animal. When the samw cow is eaten by a carnivore, let's say there's an accumulation of 10000J in the cow, then only 1000J of energy will be received. So even after eating a lot, carnivores are not able to get the same amount of energy from eating say for suppose a 200 kilo cow, while if they ate 200 kg of grass they would have received a lot more energy.

I think a lot of this comes back to traditional mind conditioning. So many people are wired to think they need a 'big lunch' to feel full, and the same goes for dinner. And the arguments that people have against a natural diet are just silly and never based on actual firsthand experience. If you think your food has to look 'good' before you put it inside your stomach, then you must take full responsibility and say, "Yes! I choose to eat this way even though I understand it's not in my best interest.". Otherwise, we get a lot of clashes between meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans. You either take responsibility, including for your ailments, or you don't'. The difference is huge. A raw diet elevates your mind, calms the body, and gives peace to the heart center.

Since you mentioned Enzymes I would like to say this. Most people don't benefit from enzymes because of the way food is eaten rapidly without chewing adequately and often with distraction such as TV or something else Saliva is the first production of digestion especially with carbs Hence why so many people put one weight due to undigested food with no enzymes or co enzymes
@AraashMehta6 ай бұрын
But what if your enzymes came with the food as well? Ain’t that better?
@28fabrice6 ай бұрын
@@AraashMehta saliva is the transportation task for food assimilation. So if you don't chew food in conscious awareness. You're missing out on the bioavailability and assimilation of food. As an example if you eat when angry you won't digest or use the food because of many missing enzyme transporters!

I apologize first but I think Cooked food had a lot of Yang energy, which heat up the body and do certain bodily function. Raw food has mostly life energy which is softer and not as heated up. Just imagine having to force yourself consuming raw food in the cold winter, when next to you there is a hot pot of soup, root vegetable, and all the thing that warm the body. Doing that is not healthy either. Either way, it is not really ideal to consume %100 raw food, or %100 cooked food. There must be balanced, and we must learn to listen to our body. I have tried raw food for a while and it was great at first, but then comes problem ofcourse. The same applies for cooked food.

When we eat "clean/raw" we are able to distinguish one flavor from the other. I LOVE the taste of green beans or broccoli and cauliflower I'd rather eat raw. When I used to competitively body build I remember thinking that I ate to train not trained eat and it, of course, made a huge difference. LOL if you cheated it showed! hahaha. So the moral of the story, "don't cheat yourself" out of good nutrition. Eat to live not live to eat.

somehow when I was quite young I never liked the traditional food but I was always eating carrots and fruits, I used to think its because of the fact that straight out of the refrigerator they give me a very refreshing feeling and as a child always eager to go out to play, this way was also less time consuming, now that I have tormented my health in all possible ways, and stress has made overeating a habit, as nutrition if incomplete will still keep u craving for it, even when you have outdone your capacity to eat .ONLY now I realize that RAW always made sense , it was just the collective Ignorance me and the society that has made me believe that food means cooked meals and fruits are meant to be snacking items. Ignorance not always Bliss.

I’ve been a rough week is for eight years and I’m not a robber vegan I do eat raw fish raw pastured eggs and sometimes I’ve eaten raw meat and dairy it’s all been raw... I have noticed a great deal of energy when I’m 100% wrong or 98% raw. I have noticed that I have less energy and less clarity in the World Cup food that I eat. Sometimes I feel tremendously happy eating cooked food. However the happiness has nothing to do with energize in my body.....So I’m back on 100% again. And I also believe in the intermittent fasting. If I have a window where I’m not eating for about 17 or 18 hours and I do a dry fast I feel fantastic. I can actually drive house every day even 14 to 24 hours. But 24 hours is usually something that’s not something that I’m doing very often...

From last 4 years I'm following the same raw food more raw veggies and fruits nuts dry fruits ....I'm perfectly alright and I feel very well everytime after eating. but as guruji said 90 % of the people around me suggested that this is not a good thing. ...and tried to change me. But I didn't..They don't try to understand. Most of the people said "from childhood our body is habituated to cooked food Not raw food so it's not good to change in between. But didn't listened anyone's words .From 4 years I'm habituated to natural and raw food. Completely stopped eating processed and cooked foods ..Mainly out side food.

@@monicasobhani4584 i use very wide range of varieties of food...I quit eating rice curries and regular food. From then Iam eating raw food. 4 am After wake up ..Hot water with pepper lemon honey.... After brushing overnight soaked dryfruits(pista,almond,walnuts,apricot,date,kiwi, cranberry,cashew,fig(anjeer)alubukhara,raisins,black raisins,afgan dryfruit),seeds(pumpkin,watermelon, sunflower,) .....All dryfruits each on 3.-4 pcs,seeds half-1 spoon. 8-9 am Breakfast..Handful of soaked groundnuts,beaten rice with curd with commonly used spices (crushed)... breakfast 2...3 boiled eggs,2boiled potatoes....Sweet potatoes (alternatively) dosa ,idly , breakfast 3 oats,milk ... 1-2 pm lunch...Daily one type of vegetables with curd in it (vegetable salad)mostly creeper vegetables(all vegetables are good but compared to others creepers have more nutritional values,pumpkin bottle gourd,ash gourd etc..),and leafy vegetables, lunch 2.brown rice cooked along with vegetables (like vegetable biryani)....4.30-5 snacks sprouts(you can sprout many kind of grams..Check google .My mostly used are moong beans, chana dal), fruits, 7-7.30 dinner 2-3 chapati (cooked with ghee )with raagi java(soup or drink made by finger millet ..If you want you can add lemon drops)... Daily i use to sleep between 8.30-9... And mostly remember one thing , whenever you eat whatever it may be...Chew every mouthful of food 32 times(in the beginning i used to count each time..But later iam habituated to do so now iam not counting...You will come to know your food in mouth will mix with saliva and become like water..(drink food eat water.)then the food digests and absorbs easily by our body...And daily using lemon in any way is more important because it will improve healthy gut bacteria in intestines that needed for our food digestion and absorption... I'm doing all these from past 4 years no complaints,Nothing ... I'm feeling well and active I'm all my day2day activities.... I am doing all these because I need more energy for my daily activities ....And I never waste food.if i know that some food is going to be wasted I'll give them to people who don't have food to eat. Whenever I used eat i pick food only how much I can eat,not more than that.....And one more important thing Your food is your medicine ....If you use your food as medicine then in future there will be no need of eating medicines like food. Always i use everything in sufficient and minimum quantity... And one more thing is I never eat stomach full of food ... I fill my stomach only 60-70%....Adding moringa leaves (drumstick tree leaves),sweet potatoes, are some super foods, turmeric water , also good for health And daily i used to walk minimum 5 km, go for swimming, running , workouts, breathing exercise (pranayama)yoga, meditation , and I eat non veg also in limited quantities but not on Sunday but on any other day weekly once....Why because animal proteins are complete proteins plant proteins are incomplete proteins .... Mostly sea food)... And one ultimate medicine I use is juice of beetroot,carrot,tomato, sometimes radish asper availability..Drink this juice if you can't maintain all these...This is enough.....Lifelong you won't get any sickness....I don't give importance for taste .... Only for energy ..All these are taste less foods.... Whenever I eat something in my home ...My family members asks "how you are eating these ....🙄 "

Someone told me it is the kind of blood you have. Cause i myself experienced this. When exposed to mosquitoes, only me and one my friends who got bitten by them. Most of our company werent. But also as what Sadhguru says, experiment and see. So eat like how he eats. Cause when i changed my diet, now got rid of the mosquitoes. So maybe quitoes are carnivores? They hate blood with plant juices in it. Hehe!😆

Vitamin B changes the composition in your blood which makes your blood unpleasant for mosquitoes. So a good tip is to a take a vitamin supplement before going out and you’ll notice a significant decrease in mosquito bites.

Another reason is when your mind is full of love , which means you don’t have attacking thoughts to your self or thers , mosquitoes will not bite you, You get attacked when you attack “ outside world is to reflection “

word for word. 50% uncooked and 50% cooked you'll be alright. If others prefer cooked food when you want to do uncooked, it's easy to make it yourself even if you donot know how to cook. We are still primates so the uncooked diet is the right type of diet.

I admire this. It allows us to eat raw most of the time, but also enjoy a cooked meal on a social outing 💛

Eating 50-60% Raw food is not meant for every (body) constitution. Some bodies need to eat more cooked food to process all the goodies in the food properly. For sure, eat more plant-based food and reduce meat consumption, but don't make it all raw food :-)
