I have VH31 in my Dan Henry 1975 and it works like a charm. Nice proposals here, I recently bought the Baltany chrono with VK61 and currently waiting for it.

I predict , come the November sale, we will see many more budget brands switching to the VH31. It makes perfect sense, higher profit margins, trusted brand, and of course the sweep with added battery quartz reliability. I recently bought the VH31 movement for a home build - cost £4.

I have a few watches with the VH31, including my Yema Navygraf, excellent movement. I also picked up the Addiesdive shown here, put it on an olive nato that I converted to a single pass strap and it’s bloody fantastic!

These are nice but these are designs we have all seen before. Wish they would start homaging other brands and looks Sinn, Squale, Panerai and perhaps some Bregeut.

Everyone showing off this fine Welly Merck and it’s nice travel box, too bad I didn’t get when i bought it. The butterfly clasp is a letdown, but you can swap it out, the clasp is only secured with push pins and in their channels you can use regular push pins.

Wish Welly Merck had gone with a GMT and NH34 with that Lum and dial and internal rotating bezel. Looks good but Miyota 8215 is kind of un-wowing at this point on Aliexpress.

AliExpress branding is the problem.. If I dont like the brand name and logo I won't buy the watch. It's not being a watch sob as I have two Baltony watches. I just can't get into watch dives and san martin. I could come up with better brand names.
