My goodness I’ve had your combat conditioning book since high school and I’m so glad you have a KZbin showing how YOU do it in actually motion. I’m in my thirties now and inspired again to get back to the Hindu squat/push up and back bridges.

dude its different when the practitioner of the traditional hindu wrestling executes the hindu push up, can you please demostrae the Sapate or the hindu burpee? and also Mishr Dand , thank you so much.

Can you suggest when to seal the sphincter when doing hindu push ups.

If your hips are complaining in the first position try warming up by doing them in what yogis call a child's pose to start and rock forward to open the hips in a modified cobra and then do a push up and rock back to child's position.. In both hindi push ups and hindi squats proper warm up is always a good idea. And most of all enjoy.

Did you reverse the breathing for reason? Thought it was breathe in when looking up and exhale when looking back at feet?

Should the elbows actually touch the ground when performing the first part of the lowering phase of the hindu push up? Because I've seen them be performed both ways, I would like to know wich one is "better".

Not that I’ve ever done, unless you’re talking about “tiger bends.”

@@mattfureysays7710 yes, it's pretty much a hindu pushup but with a tiger bend at the beginning. So you wouldn't recommend doing hindu push ups like that? Thank you in advance.

Mouth is for eating and nose is for breathing :) However all 3 foot positions ...good stuff.

Hey Matt..Unfortunately I had a freak accident that ended up with me having torn achilles tendons on both ankles (will be getting an operation on my right ankle probably in January 2023 and later for the left ankle)..I got injured from doing a set of Burpees (believe it or not)..I'm very limited on what I can do..Do you know what type of exercises from combat conditioning I could possible do? I was tinkering on doing the wide legged hindu push ups..My physician has me doing Arm curls with 10 lbs for 10 minute workouts and riding and peddling on our recumbent bike for 20 minutes (with Caution)..That's it..Do you have any suggestions?..I'm past the point of frustration...To be fair , I do wear a pair of air cast boots a couple of hours at a time...

Folks this is just one reason burpees are overrated. Lots can go wrong.
