for the thermos, boil water, pour inside the thermos so the thermos is nice and hot, empty the thermos and then add your cheese or hot food, it'll stay alot warmer than just heating the individual food item

And for cold food put it in fridge for 20 mts and then put cold food in like yogurt etc it stays cold for longer time.
