Actually it's not a pure comedy genre..it's social issue,drama and comedy (like a typical raju hirani movie) that's why many sad scenes in between...and more relatable to asian audience cause the pressure of education,competition in competitive exam is so high here that's why this movie became so much hit in all asia later around the world

Best of Indian movie hits from this year. Aavesham - a quirky, dark comedy movie, a complete entertainer. Manjumal boys - a survival thriller based on true story and excellent sound design, cinematography. Bramhayugam - A cinema masterpiece, made in black and white, horror movie without jumpscares. Most Malayalam movies tend to have best scripts and cinematography with lower focus on stars or marketing. Watch " Manjummel boys" its the best survival thriller ever made in india in all aspect. Im talking about technicaly and performance wise. Its a Malayalam language movie. You ill get dubbed versions, but do watch it in orginal Malayalam language. You wont get the pure cinema experience and acting with dubbed. Malayalam films are more into good story telling and performance. Known for realistic, relatable story telling. Check out the trailer on youtube, if you are intrested then watch it. Good sound system prefered.

I don't really get why Westerners always need to see the face when they talk to someone 🤔 here in Java it's not necessary, sometimes it's considered as rude. I mean it's okay if it's in a normal conversation, but during a movie reaction like this? Especially a non English movie with subtitles? You might miss some very important points of the movie if you keep looking away 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can't you just talk to each other with the eyes still on the screen? 🤔 Or you can just pause a moment if you really need to talk about some scenes 😊 I know it's not really a big deal but it always bothers me 😆🙈
