I had never heard of the finishing elbow position on the shooting arm in relation to proper arc of the shot. That's one I will use in teaching. You should land with your feet going forward not exactly where you started from - Sweep and sway . Shoulders should sway back as finish as well. Watch the greatest shooters - they always sweep forward with their feet and shoulders swayback. ...

Hip rotation is actually normal and not a negative aspect towards a jumpshot. I don’t know why you would want to eliminate it. You see it in a lot of gr8 shooters like Steph or kyrie.

I mean that’s kyrie and steph, those guys have practiced hundreds of millions of shots, I’m not saying it’s bad, but it’s better to be on balance, but a hip rotation is not as bad as people think

Steph and kyrie have learned how to shoot with it and not let it affect their shots, most of the time people aren't used to it and it makes their shots go off so thats why its more negative in a jump shot
