excellent video. I have 2 females about 7 weeks old. I have a question. is it natural for them to be breathing fast when sleeping? they don't make any sounds or anything but their bodies jus move up and down quite fast

Hi there, congratulations on getting your 2 girls! :-) They're such wonderful pets, and they have so much love to give. So you're sure to have a wonderful time with them :-) Also it's perfectly normal for them to be breathing fast, so no worries there. Rats are prone to respiratory infections though, so if they sound like little guinea pigs when breathing, it's time to take them to the vet :-) From what you told me, yours are fine though.

These rats are probably dead now. They dont live long. My ones got cancer after two years so i gave them to my friend who has a snake.
