It all depends on what your needs are. I have been extremely happy with both for different reasons. I have recently been using the Amicus for my smaller backpack setup as it packs down nicely, fits in my small pot, and has the attached pot stand. However, I use the Windmaster for all of my alpine climbing or when I need to cook for more people. But I am very careful about the detachable pot stand. As someone who does everything from car camping to solo alpine ascents, if I could only have one then it would be the Windmaster. If all I was doing was camping along with some thru-hiking then I would consider only owning the Amicus. And like I said, I have been giving the Amicus more work to do lately just to see how well it performs. In the end, either one will definitely take care of your cooking needs!
