You don't actually need to autoattack to get your heal - the q also works with your passive, and that way the heal is applied instantly.

I saw many people still hate Yuumi even after rework. I remember when Yuumi came out. Many said she was the most useless enchanter. Then after pro player manage to work out her true potential. They jump to hate immediately. Lol community never failed to impress me.

@@Arc_VAL i used her from release. Her design was to heal and shield 1 person in order to make it survive the engage. She was the second best healer in the game and her heals could actually save ppl from crit mid to late game pokes, at full build. So her design was actually good. If anything, i say that her design sucks after the rework and all those patches who killed her spells one by one. She was still in danger against heavy poke/heavy CC regardless, now it's even worse since the meta goes with them and you do have Shadowflame and Serpent's Fang to fuck up her sheilds, let alone getting a spear from Rell who instantly breaks shields. But to leave Galio silently be a burst killer, Seraphine being used now as a trollpick to dominate botlane, Aurelion Sol being the new Nasus of the game and Syndra with infinite stacking true damage since it's OK for the community. It's just BS.

I saw rhis guide to start playing Yuumi 3 or 4 days after I started playing LOL. 4 months later Yuumi is my most played champ with 105k mastery points (and for those who think I dont know how to play, my second and third most played chamos are Smolder with 86k mastery points and Hwei with around 50k)

I wanted to create the ultimate yuumi guide because I'm a yuumi main and you can guess I have plenty of time. Yuumi is an adc reliant support character, so if your adc is autofill or a novice, playing this character is definitely not an option. Yuumi goes well with on hit characters because her W provides on hit healing. So Xayah, Lucian, Zeri, Kai'sa, Vayne or Nilah might be the best adc options for you. Moreover, all of these characters are marksmen with some form of mobility. As for matchups: If you are facing Janna, Lulu or Thresh, I suggest you close the game immediately because these characters either directly counter your Q or W, which forces you to play a passive game. Yuumi counters best Ezreal's early game. Since she can tank some of Ezreal q shots and return to her untouchable mode If your Adc is ahead in the game, you can get Ardent or Flowing depending on the situation, if the opposing team has a lot of CC, you can get Mikail as the first item. I usually play aggressive yuumi so my mythical item is always Shurelya since I want my team to be more agile First, always start with Q. If you can poke the opponent a lot, spend your skill points on Q. If the opponent pokes you a lot, play safe and use Q only to trigger the passive and develop the E skill. Since Yuumi is the easiest character to play, I advise you not to get used to this character. After I mained Yuumi, it started to become much more difficult for me to give a shield to my teammate with Lulu, because all that is required for Yuumi to give a shield is to press E, whereas with Lulu, bringing the mouse to her teammate is also part of the job.

I'm an adc (jhin) main, just watching this to try her in a bot match so I can understand her better when I get matched with one absolutely astounded by the suggestion to detach from your adc and eat some damage sometime.... tell that to all the yuumis out there! I once got matched with one Yuumi that was the MVP. Did a great job at keeping the enemies at range so I can farm and shielded me when she could... And then I got matched with one that was basically afking. Maybe tossed one Q every minute, never went under 75% mana, and then flamed me for 'throwing' as she hit surrender. The problem isn't Yuumi, she seems like a fun and great support if played well. The problem is that many people (and bot accounts) like to abuse her and make the whole team suffer for it.

I'm not optimistic about the rework. The champ's main problem was the lack of interaction. She's unreasonably good if someone on her team is snowballing and totally useless if they're all behind. They should've studied Io's design in Dota 2.

Max order should be different. They re-tuned Yuumi's Q to be a one-point wonder. You should max E first, the points in the shield are way more valuable for early trades and the Q doesn't get as much value from ranks as before. Q should usually get maxed second, since the damage does scale and the benefits of maxing W are passive, but in super-hard lanes where you're only going to farm, giving your teammate more sustain might be the best option.

This is interesting - having checked out what pros are maxing and after playing a few games I definitely feel like Q max is best the 60 extra enhanced damage along with the better CD feels so incredibly strong compared to the 30 extra shield - but absolutely if you’re losing maxing E is definitely viable but even then I’d be tempted by 2 or 3 points in Q first - but will be interesting to see where she ends up!

I know that it has been 6 months, which I believe included a decent Yuumi rework, but as someone pretty new to the game, and who started with Yuumi, I've found success with splitting evenly between W and E (W one ahead of E), leveling Q last. I found that my Q was very easy to avoid or deny (body blocking with minions), and that I valued it more for the healing and slowing effects, rather than its actual damage. I've been splitting W and E to not max the mana cost on E too soon, giving myself more time to gain mana pool and regeneration from levels and items.

Yuumi don't need skills true you just need to be good at hitting the Q and shielding and ult at the right time its not that hard the only real hard thing is if your adc is trash you can't do shit and it make its a hard to play with randoms without an adc that follow your calls or take bad fights you will just die with the adc so feeding the enemie. Yuumi is indeed not hard to play but can become extremly trash if paired with a 2 braincell adc or team in general at my opinion yuumi need some changes true maybe she could attach to someone but not infinitly and that like she can be a bit viable solo
