Great video! I've been working on my jump height for a while now and can't seem to consistently break 5 meters... How high can you get in 10 knots with a 15m kite?
@povwithzubda58923 ай бұрын
I don’t think 10 knots are enough but you can divide your weight by how many knots and then multiply by 2.2 (72 divided by 18 knots x 2.2

@@povwithzubda5892 Interesting - where did you find this formula? That would imply a more heavy kiter could jump higher in the same conditions: 100 kg / 20kts x 2.2 = 11 Meters while: 50 kg / 20 kts x 2.2 = 5.5 Meters

What do you consider "moderate" speed? Thx
@KiteboardingStPetersburg Жыл бұрын
A controllable speed - too slow and you wont be able to use the momentum of the heelside edge motion to get off the water - too fast and the crashes will be not so fun and wont be able to do a hard heelside carve

I guess I'm a noob that enjoys jumping in 10 kts 🤣but in all seriousness lighter winds are definitely safer to learn in and the technique has to be good.. but here are some of my noob tricks in 10 kts 🤣😅 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKTMhpalbdJ7jdU
