Great video, I purchased my EV6 end of August 2022 and just had one dealer visit for my first service and so far so good. I drive 70 miles one way to work 3 times a week and this car been a blast to drive. I love the efficiency even in cold winter days here in the Northeast. Thx and good luck

P.S.: The 450V charging points indeed have an inferior charging speed with the EV6, as the inverter has to upscale, hence 115kW is probably the max with a 150kw charger. Always check for max. voltage of your charging point, it should be preferably 900V. Usually there's a small plaque somewhere at the charger with the specs.

Fastest I got on EA is 237kwh. These slow charging is mostly EAs fault and possibly your battery temp. In CA, most of our EA stations are the newest slim and one port. We mostly have 350s than 150s. I drove from LA to Sf and LA to Vegas, no issues on long road trip. ABRP is really helpful finding and planning route. OBD dongle is great to have so you have better idea of your battery temp.

Great info for sure. I have not found a 350 Charger in South Florida yet. I sure hope EA gets newer chargers setup here for better charging. CA and Nevada and Arizona are way ahead of here. Thanks for watching and hope you subscribe to the channel :)

I was parked but was not charging yet. When I connected it was only 3 vehicles. The chargers have 2 connectors but it’s only 1 station. You specify on the App the charging station number. Looks like they do that for ease of connection. The speeds are not standardized.

My 2022 ev6 wind AWD tech. at an EA 150 charging station will consistently get 170 kWh charging speeds at a 4 station site with all 4 being used there must be some of your chargers de-rated for some reason.

Does the car remember your Ipedal settings when you park and turn off? Or do you have to select the regen level every time you start the car?

It goes back to level 3 regen when you park the park. You would have to set every time in drive.

I don't think the TSB had that change in mind. I think its a safety feature so you know your setting it to iPedal.

@@WheelsnWheels I never understood the decision of Hyundai/Kia not making that setting stick. As a Tesla owner, I would have Ipedal on 100% of the time so having to set that for each drive would be annoying.

Hoping it gets better. I have found quite a few Level 2 free chargers in the area. But EA chargers work so far not so reliable in the delivery of a quick charge. Will be testing some other ones soon too.

@@WheelsnWheels that's my gripe, in south Florida the EV adoption is a joke, evnogo only has like 2 stations in Broward and 0 responsibility, nobody assumes responsibilities, to the fact e go blamed my car for the slow speeds

It is rather slow around here for sure. You have to be creative to find some charging. Have you used the PLUGSHARE and ChargePoint apps ? Plugshare will show you stations around you. Even will give some updates on the status of the station. Hope you subscribe to the channel too !

I guess you’re not aware it’s recommended you limit charging to 80% unless you need more for a specific trip.

The KIA Manual states that you should charge to 100% Once a month for battery health.

You’re reading that in a vacuum. Only DC fast charging is bad for the battery pack. Charging over 80% at DC fast charging is very inefficient. The car sitting with a full charge is unhealthy. An occasional full charge is fine. I’ll charge at home to 100% Thursday night because i’m heading for a roadtrip friday and all stops will be max 80% except at the hotel before heading back.
