Do these AYCE places allow you to order half-cut rolls ? So often I’d like to try a few different menu items, but can’t take down several cut rolls with anything else. A 2 to 4 piece cut roll order option would be fantastic!

X-fish looked pretty good. One comment on the tuna. The farmed stuff tends to look less vibrant, and it does look like many restaurants use this one instead of the better quality fish.

Some sushi restaurants refer to Escolar as Black Cod, White Tuna (which is prohibited in CA), Sablefish, Butterfish, or other names. Great video.

I normally never return if I see Escolar Served in a Japanese establishment. It is a diarrhea generator. Banned in Japan.
