Granblue Fantasy is a really big game. It's 10 years old already! So, some things end up getting more attention than others.

They do have a lot of open ended stories that a lot of people forget about until they are either added to side story (when they are forgotten about again) or are re-run. Even Paliuli Pararaiha that was re-run recently had it's first run in nov2020 4.5 years ago. Melleau got her flb then and people just assumed they would expand on it later to maybe get a flb Nemone or a Felluca release to complete the sisters. Instead we got a fire xmas Nemone that legfest and we never heard from them since.

Nice vid, I love seeing people making videos on the actual plot of Granblue, most of the videos of it online tend to be on Versus/Relink or on Grids and the meta of the gacha, I’d love to see more of these types of vids, definitely subscribing. It feels like in Granblue they have so many potential plot points for events that some are forced to wait on the sidelines, hell the most recent event was an event for Petra, set up in 2015, I doubt all potential plot points will be covered but I think that’s something that players just have to accept with how big the actual Granblue world is lore wise with every new event introducing new concepts or expanding on older ones. As for the storylines covered in the vid I feel like the most likely plot they’ll update is the Alchemist storyline, Like you said, Cagliostro is super popular so it’s likely they’ll do a third event when characters like Yuel/Societte or Barawa got their third events after years of barely any relevance. Cag is one of the easiest characters to do a Style Change for as well as similar to Yngwie she already has her 5 Star, the Grand 5 Star is basically guaranteed for her years down the line and to be honest I’d like to see Earth Cag get more of an offensive play style with how strong she in in lore. Arriet has that Rage of Bahamut import problem where they either give them a whole storyline or do nothing with them, I mean maybe they could do some sort of Enforcer focused event but they could just give her a Sword alt randomly and address everything in her Fate Episodes like they did with Olivia, since both of them had so little plot relevance. Nezahualpilli’s plot is probably gonna eventually get an event, he’s similar to Vanzza where the setup is already there, Cygames just needs to write the event.

The Rage of Bahamut issue is probably the funniest with Jeanne, who according to every single character she's gotten is THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER IN THE UNIVERSE - and then she disappears off the face of the skies again. Woops!

@@SjefDriscoll It’s very interesting since she even has Grand status yet the most she’s gotten event wise was as added muscle for The Dragonblood War and showing up in A Walk on the Wild Side. I haven’t read her Fates unfortunately since I’m waiting to pull her Base version first but she seems like a Narmaya type, she gets alts, she’s pretty popular but she doesn’t have an event, although unlike Narmaya her plot is still ongoing? While Narmaya’s was sort of addressed in her 5 Star Fates.

It's just the nature of that shoddy game's pacing. It's hard to say anything's truly forgotten when they will suddenly make a sequel for an event that hasn't been continued in several years overnight lol. I think the best solution is to "keep waiting" because this game is designed for a 12 year format. You also have to keep in mind some plot threads are continued in fates rather than events, and thus gatekept. With how much Cag appears everywhere else, it is probably deliberate that they haven't continued her own storyline - rather than it simply being forgotten. Arriet is definitely a forgotten character altogether though, made worse by being a RoB import (which are generally aren't treated well compared to original characters).

oh wow a granblue lore channel! Birdman's SR fates made me hopeful that he was gonna an event some time down the line since its pretty much a set up for a bigger issue but... almost 6 years and nothing, makes me a bit sad since he's one of my fave male characters lol

Hey now, Seeds of Redemption had a lot of backstory to it. It relies heavily on knowledge of the Karn Clan and the Stardust Town mafia issue. Also nice job for a first vid, hope to see more stuff from you!

Was hilarious the reception of Mireille and Risette by the JP community. They almost destroyed an entire city and somehow ended in our ship despite saying the will repent forever 😂

I liked your video, there are several stories the game has left untouched for a while and these 3 are some of the best examples. I still remember Arriet's since she was one of my first SSR characters, and I was actually confused why she never appeared afterward. One that breaks my heart is Rosine's. Her quest was finding her husband so they can live their last years together. We find him in her SR's episode, but he tells her he first has to solve some issue with an organization experimenting on animals, then leaves. This was on 2018... but her husband has a small cameo in one of Orologia's timelines, still looking into the experiments, so maybe there's still hope for continuation for their story. But they had been brining some stories back, like it was the case with Drusilla and Petra at least having a new sprite in the recent event, which could mean a future SSR. And I still think the will eventually continue the Alchemist's one at least, it could be something related to delays due to scheduling issues with the VA's, who knows.

I'm still so sad that they didn't use Rosine (and her husband) in Home Sweet Moon. I was hyped for it! But two years later they decided to go with a different underground organization for him. The bad one. Oh well!

This is my bias showing (Cagliostro and Clarisse are my favorite characters) but as someone who really loves the idea of alchemy, it sucks so much that we don't get to see more of it. Especially the contrast between Cag and Clarisse's powers, I would love to see Clarisse grow more as an alchemist since being able to disintegrate matter?? That's such an opposite of alchemy's focus on creation that I'd love to see more of it!!

I could be wrong but I think they also forgot about Walder’s story line with his primal friend. Quite odd since it also features fenrir and Loki. Dang it granblue, please reunite walder with his buddy plz.
