I myself include folk catholism in my practice and If you live with a strict Catholic/Christian family you could do the last spell with a rosary or a cross that you hang up somewhere!

@@xx_d0ra3m0n_xx No hate to you or the religious practices that are important to you, but Catholicism forcefully converted a *lot* of people and cultures under literal pain of death over an extensive period of time. Oftentimes, those people being converted had to smuggle their traditional spiritual practices and folk magic under the radar by combining them with Catholic practices, language and imagery, and, over time, those hybrid practices took on a new life, and became their own traditions and practices which were very meaningful to the people engaging with them--the folk Catholic elements included. Again, genuinely no hate to you, I know this can be a difficult concept to internalize, but here's the thing: When your religion or culture is the dominant one, and when it's actively forced other people to assimilate into it, you no longer get to claim "disrespect" when the people who have been assimilated into your religion and culture engage with that religion and culture. They are not disrespecting you or your religion by practicing the version of that religion that their ancestors developed in order to survive. It does not belong to you. (Also, if you haven't watched it already, this channel has a video on Christianity and witchcraft that you may find valuable, if you're open to reconsidering your thoughts on this subject) *Immediate edit because I think this is also important context that I failed to mention with my original comment:* Christianity is, to this day, the dominant religion in Western society, and a LOT of people are raised within a version of Christianity, including a fair percentage of the people who will later go on to explore some version of witchcraft. Even if it's not tied to a well-established, preexisting tradition, it isn't inherently disrespectful or wrong for people to include elements of the religion *they were raised in* in their spiritual practices going forwards. If those early experiences with Christianity are still important to them or powerful for them, it's absolutely nobody else's business but theirs.

1. Before you put paper in the soil, check if it's safe for the plant. Some types of papers (especially cheap ones) have various acids or whitening agents put into them and that can easily kill your plant. Been there, done that. Don't be like teenage me XD 2. Before burying witch bottle in the planter or ground near house make sure that everything inside is good for your plant or make it airtight :) 3. You can use specific Saint's medallion for this too if you're going more Catholic route, or make something from the scratch (from modeling clay or paper-machee) for specific purpose :)

@@ChaoticWitchAunt I worked in printing press, half of paper we used cannot be recycled or composted because of these additions. Watch out for anything shiny, glossy and/or really white. I used paper for laser printers for my spell in early 2000's and my plant died. Decade later I found out that it probably contained lot of chlorine (bleach) so no wonder...

witch tip (but it’s UPG): water holds memory, that means it holds vibration, so if you want something to absorb negative energy instead of you, you can use water in a protection bottle with some herbs of your choice, protective sigils, etc. when it’s done you can just flush it down the toilet since it will hold really nasty energy.
@mayaflici374
@mayaflici374 6 ай бұрын
Unfortunately that whole "memory of water" theory was debunked years ago. You can believe it holds vibration, but that specific "memory" terminology is plain wrong I'm afraid.

I was so happy to see nazar bead here and you used the Turkish name as well! Don’t believe anyone saying it’s a closed practice imo. We always gift it to people we want to protect and it is totally fine if you get one for yourself. We are very happy when other people use it like we do! Our belief (at least what is said in my family) is if you’re wearing it and it gets broken or it gets lost, it has done its job and it’s time to replace it. I love your channel and it really motivates me to try new things in my practice! Keep doing the magic you do

I'm a Catholic folk magic practioner so enjoy your content. However in my experience my protective plants do not "thrive" off negativity. They absorb it and die. We refer to this as "taking the hit". Most recently my beautiful huge snake plant that I had for years literally melted to mush overnight during an uncrossing and return to sender I was doing (my ex sent something very nasty to my new partner). My poor snake plant (which we use mainly to "cut or break up" stale energy around the home) was near my altar and unfortunately absorbed alot of the energy that was sent. That was the most dramatic plant hit I ever experienced in my 30 years practising! Mostly we use cacti for protection, they are hardier and take longer to die... My poor snake plant 😭 Also thankyou for explaining how to bless the evil eye amulet. It's a trending item these days and alot of people are just buying them online from China and then just wearing it - it's not activated! Also if any evil eye jewellery breaks or falls off, don't pick it up or try to fix it. It's took a hit and you shouldn't even touch it with your bare hands. Dispose of it away from your home and buy a new one. If it breaks in your home you can also fumigate as a extra precaution to rid any residue energy. We burn olive leaves, bay leaves, salt and anise seeds for banishing evil eye. Same ingredients for evil eye spiritual bath except we add sambuca or ouzo which is made from anise 😊

Attempted do a reading for a fellow witch "friend" and not only did she argue with everything I had to say from spirit she also pulled out her own cards and started pulling from them. She said and I quote, "You know I think you're just intimidated by someone who practices the same things you do." Long story short, got woken up by a crazy spirit shaking me and yelling my name and now I think I need to do some extra protection. Definitely needed to see this video today. I'm not sure what's going on but I don't like it, she was a straight up bully me to me and me feel so invalidated in my practice.

I have a mix of herbs that I use for protection, clearing and banishing. Depending on the need for that time, it's nice to have a mix that has multiple uses. I keep them dry until I decide if I want a liquid/smoke/as is. I'm a huge fan of sprays and diffusers. It's a convenience and time issue for me with most things.

9 in Italian Catholicism, for what I remember from cathechism that I did at young age, is considered a perfect number, o an holy number because is three times three, so three times the holy number (the Holy Trinity) that you mentioned, 6 instead is considered a number related to humankind, symbol of imperfection

It took me about an hour to get through this video with all the interruptions. Hmmm, who doesn't want me watching this? 😁 We live next to a cemetery and funeral home that cremates, and one of my kids is a medium and hates it. We have had lots of visitors in the past, but I've had to put boundaries around the house as the spirits all go to them because they can see them. Always good to hear how others protect their homes so I can maybe tweak something that needs to change here or there. All of our visitors have been friendly, I only cleansed them out when they got too mischeivous, like light bulbs falling out of fixtures and teasing the cats. Once they started bothering my kid, I put up a "fence" if you will. 😊✌️❤️🃏🪄🕯🙋‍♀️

Yes, you can do anything that works for you. The beauty of this practice is there are no rules! I practice like I cook - follow the recipe the first time, then tweak it to my tastes after that. Substitute things I don't have for what's in my pantry. You can do the same with spells. For myself, I have found many spells that are so full of ritual and ingredients that I would never do them. Just remember the magick is mainly in your energy, all the other things are tools to enhance the energy. 😊😊

Recommendation of the nazar bead is curious because it belongs to turkish spiritual beliefs and culture. Even the word "nazar" is turkish and no, it's not exactly the same concept with the evil eye or il mallocio (sorry if i spelt it wrong). Nazar beads do not break when they absorbe enough bad energy or "when they've done their job". I would go so far as to say that they are closed practise.
@lisad8524
@lisad8524 2 жыл бұрын
They’re NOT a closed practice. The nazar isn’t exclusively Turkish and from my experience it’s given freely as gifts (e.g. at weddings) even to non-Turks/Greeks/Arabs.

Hi! I've heard differing opinions on the usage of Nazar amulets (including the commenter below) - I did get this one as a gift from someone. I don't typically go out of my way to use or buy them. I was told to be respectful of it and its origins, but not that it was a closed practice or the usage of it/wearing of it (this was a debate on TikTok at some point, and many people concluded it was not closed due to the vast spread of it's usage), since it's in Turkish spiritual beliefs, it's also in other spiritual systems & cultures in different variations (some include Bulgaria, Cyprus, Latin America, Greece, India, and Iran). To my understanding, the term “nazar” is one of many terms for it, albeit a very popular one! However, I'm always happy to learn more! If you have resources from Turkish individuals writing about the talisman itself, please feel free to link them so I can learn more.
