Im running a 12v system, 1500 watts solar and two 12v 100ah LiFePo4 batteries. I'm ready to upgrade to a 24v system now but i will stick to 12v batteries in series when i do (for the time being)

24-volt setups hit a sweet spot, in my opinion, for folks who want a backup system for critical stuff, when the power goes out, but also anyone who goes camping a lot. While the dedicated 24v batteries ARE cool, buyers need to realize you are losing the versatility of connecting two 12v batteries in series, to get that voltage. The drawbacks include having to purchase a 24v battery charger (unless you're going to rely 100% on 24v output from your solar array) and not being able to disconnect the two 12v batteries and use them, independently, for other needs. A possible future video, since you're on this 24v journey, is showing how 12v batteries, connected in series, will gradually see their SOC drift apart, and how a "battery equalizer" can be used to address that problem. Good stuff! :)

24v systems are underappreciated for sure, to your point of versatility with the 12v systems though I would say that the benefits of moving completely to 24v far outweigh losing the "compatibility" of 12v, for example most flush USB outlets, appliances, and even solar charge controllers for RV/Vehicle installation are 12/24v dual voltage compatible so they will automatically work, if there is something that is 12v only, if its something cheap you might be better off just buying the 24v version, otherwise buy a 24v to 12v converter per appliance or group all of them on one high amp converter, they are fairly cheap depending on amp rating and have a pretty good efficiency. You make a good point on not being able to split the batteries apart and use two 12v batteries for other needs, however you then lose your 24v system temporarily and then have to make sure they are both charged up properly to put back together, and the two 12v LiFePO4 BMS's in series can not communicate with each other so they wont balance to each other. It is much better just to have the single LiFePO4 24v battery as a main pack and then find some cheap or second hand 12v lead acid/lifepo4 batteries as backups that can be charged off your 24v pack with solar.

That's a rather large form factor for just 2560Wh these days, over 1440 cubic inches, though several vendors still sell them in that form factor I guess. For example, there's an Eco-Worthy that runs 1148 cubic inches (15.1 x 7.6 x 10 inches). There's a LiTime 12.8V x 100Ah that's 479 cubic inches (x 2 for 2560Wh = 957 cubic inches). Probably pouch cells instead of prismatics, but I really like the smaller form factors that are coming out now.

wow thats freaking amazing. Im not sure if the 24 volts is a better system to run high power but i can almost bet a 12 volt system would have crapped out. Im also surprised at the inverter holding at 3000 watts wow.

The battery should not allow you to pull 140A for 10 minutes. Apparently the BMS has No over current protection.

Wow! How many BTU’s is the a/c? Does it have a soft start installed on it?

@@GearGadgetReviews It's a 13.5K. and no soft start. I was also surprised. I first built a rolling power cart from a Home Depot rolling tool box. 4 280Ah EVE cells and the 2,200 Giandel. It has a 30 Amp RV plug on the front and it would run my AC unit, albiet only for a few hours. Now I have four 280Ah batteries (in the RV), for over 14K Watt hours and three 200 Watt solar panels. On a sunny day, I can run one AC unit all day. Oh, I upgraded the inverter (in the RV) to a 3,200 Watt unit to give me more headroom.
