Thank you for this and for helping us with your experience. I was in a strong relationship with Jesus and met the narc. 2 1/2 years of backsliding and soul tie. I'm back and growing in Him "Jesus". My closure came when the covert narc tried texting me twice after a month of no contact I didn't answer. I had a feeling that he was going to try to get a hold of me by calling me and I had him blocked so what I did was unblocked his number (the day after break up) and put the message for the voicemail that just says the phone number. Well he tried calling and I didn't answer (I was laughing while it was ringing knowing he was most likely surprised and thinking I changed my number)! Lol I was 10 steps ahead this time and for the last time. He is now my stepping stone!

It’s all about the red flags at the beginning! I can’t even tell you how many red flags I chose to ignore. And truly lived to regret it. You’re so right about the attraction thing. We let our physical attraction toward someone at the beginning overtake our rational thinking. I know now that yes I want someone I am physically attracted too, but that is NOT the most important. Who he is in his heart and his relationship with Christ is most important. Because that physical Beauty that is so grand at the beginning becomes ugly when you see who the narcissist really is. Beauty inside is far more important than the outward beauty.

What red flags did u see? Mine had an emotional outburst second date after bowling...and then was super paranoid about running into his ex wife. Then kept saying you're so pretty in this weird lifeless way... they got worse of course, but those were v. early. He also would talk nonstop for an hour with no interjection. Jennifer, I like the way you think and feel about the attraction thing. Who she is in her heart and her relationship with Christ is mostly important to me. I should have paid more attention to the red flags at the very beginning! If you can't see the beauty on the inside better make a B line for the door don't walk Run. My narc won’t hoover me again. He did it twice, and I know ‘third time is a charm’ , but he won’t. I won’t allow it. He can go back to his ex-wife and a dog and live happily ever after, with my money of course 🤦🏻‍♀️😁. I’m at the stage now of forgiving myself, for allowing someone to treat me horribly. It’s proven rather difficult, but with God’s help I’ll get there.

When no one is paying attention to them, the narcissist will hoover over a preferred past supplier. Be careful that you don't love bomb a narcissist accidentally. There's nobody there, it's a hall of mirrors and you're just in love with yourself. I fell in love with myself. I dumped myself for Jesus. However, the narcissist can't move on apparently. I wasn't even in love with him.

You’re narcissist can’t move on because you never loved him. That’s what the love bomb is for to get their hooks in you ! Don’t know how blessed you are you didn’t fall in love. It took me a year to fall in love ! All that time my narc was being so wonderful to me , then boom on my birthday and how romantic it was my narc was dashing I fell in love. Can’t hide the love glow. He knew it and spent the rest of our time & days together sabotaging the love he created. The devil forbid him to fall in love with me though I think he was just as much in love as a narc can. Just a little. I see tears in his eyes as he slowly tears us back apart. Little by little. Yes , he loved games ! the silent treatment and only God knows disappearing to then Hoover me & show back up as if nothing happened. Don’t dare bring it up or the fake fight starts all over. This was before I knew what a narcissist was ! I was so trauma bonded I was sick. I did not know what was so very wrong. Luckily I called a FB friend who was a therapist. She said you’re dealing with a narcissist and suggested I get in therapy right away on you tube. To which I did. The good news in this is I found Dave a Christian. I’m a Christian and wanted to have a Christian to do my therapy with. Of course my narc was not saved , but he had many Christian friends & customers praying for him. I tried to be a good example , but I believe he has a demon. He always said he was unworthy to be saved. Just let me say once you fall for the narcissist- congratulations you won the Booby prize. ! An empty person with no love to give. Why do we work so hard to win nothing. It only gets worse. Worse worse. I tried , but I could never be controlled and Therefore very boring to my narc think I’m now off the Hoover list. Of course you never know what the narc will do. I can now spot them right away. No whirlwind romances for me. That’s the beginning. Only settle for real love. I’m holding out. Let go let God ! Love & prayers to all on here. This is heartbreaking.

I know exactly what you mean, when you say "accidentally love bomb them" I have done this before. Maybe if I show him how much I love him he will understand and he will see my loyalty and dedication. I've given so much time and money and arranged beautiful romantic dinners hoping that at the end I would be given the same. Not going to happen. They don't even appreciate the gestures. It actually annoys them. Because they know that you are hoping for the same effort.

They love showing you off for your talents because it makes them look good. Through you. I have had people say to me Everyone thinks he has been amazing since he met you. You are wonderful. You are so good for HIS life. Noone said how lucky I was to get him into My life. Then when the smear campaign came against me. He made sure that everyone knew that it was my behaviour and attitude and disloyalty and infidelity and deceit is what ended us. And everyone is seeing him as the victim and pity on him. And disgust in me.

One takeaway from being involved with a narcissist is the fact that they can't stand to be ordinary. Well, I don't mind being ordinary. I'd rather be my authentic self than pretend to be something I'm not. To be the same person inwardly as I am externally is a great goal, if not the greatest goal, of my lifetime.

Sometimes it's so sad to see this person. She showed up at my door after 6 months, with a guy. I shook his hand. He seemed beat down, at a loss for words. Her back was turned to me as she did not wish to look me in the eye. She began talking about rehab, and what should she do without insurance. And could she move back in. I could only say that I didn't have any answers, and that she needed to leave. It was a shock to my system to experience her presence and took me about an hour to stop trembling.

Triangulation is the worst. I’m so sorry you went through that. People need to be completely over their ex before they start a new relationship. Unfortunately narcs can’t be alone. My narc was helpless and the victim who attaches himself to women with money. I remember him parading me around bragging me up to everyone. 8 years later he discarded me because he believed the grass was greener somewhere else. Happy to be single and out of the drama. It exhausted me and took me months to get my energy back.

When you are in a group of people with the narcissist. Pretend your not paying attention and they will reveal things you didn't know about themselves or others like the flying monkeys. They also will reveal they have an opposite opinion then what they have shared with you. Don't question them about it what you do use absorb their true intentions until you can find a way out. Don't question them bc they will turn it into tossed salad.

The triangulation will come up quick. It’s a “tell”. My ex did the same - and now I realize continued to triangulate me our whole marriage. AND he would triangulate himself with my past! Lol. I never discussed my previous relationships, but he would always ask questions and bring things up that I wouldn’t go into detail about. That really bothered him. So be aware of the constant talk of past spouses, dates, etc. it could be a sign of NPD

I can relate to all 3, specially #3! Mine just used me for the image it portrayed, quit his job a year after he moved in because it was stressful. I look back and see how he just used me for the life style I provided and he portrayed the same at the beginning. He always played the victim and that’s how I got sucked in. I wanted to help him and fix him at the same time, after all he was love bombing me all the way through! It’s hard to believe how much time and money got wasted because of him and me not knowing I was codependent. Thank God for this channel and going to the throne!🙏❤️🔥

Dave. I came across your videos two years ago. And since then I have been through the washing machine so many times. I'm so worn out and gave list so MUCH OF MYSELF. I was a beautiful dress.. Now I'm just remnants scrappy rag. But I have learnt so much. And this time round I'm am truly awake. And I am building a stronger network of support to not let myself be the live bomber or keep the shame. I am not running to family and friends again for this support. They have had enough of trying to help me only to watch me run back like they are nothing. And then watch me crawl out if the twister even more battered. It's too painful. Like you Dave, I was left scratching my head with this guy all the time. He was seeing how far I’d go with his commands. How could I have let him be so controlling?? Oh wait, that’s right, I was the codependent fixer/pleaser! So cunning…they know your footprint by the first meeting! They know right away if you are going to be that A1 supply for them! Hey Dave Here is something that will help those people going on contact. When you leave the narc, you ahead of time get another phone with a different phone number, then leave your old cell phone when you leave. That way they can not contact you or get the flying monkeys.

Very flamboyant and energetic and always on the go . I wasn't used to that but she was so good at love bombing and idealization that I fell real hard for it . The whole thing was a crazy whirlwind . It was very draining but it was exciting at the same time and so I kept running back to it
