Awesome video. I not only want but have not only an AR-15 but two AKs, one in 7.62 and the other in 5.45. I don't participate in the whole AR v. AK discussion for the same reason I don't have a single tool in my garage. All three platforms are better at things they were designed to accomplish. The part where you listed our rights one by one and the 2A upon which they predicated needs to be shown to every high school student in every American History or civics class not only in America but everywhere. "Freedom" is a word thrown around too broadly and therefore easily defined narrowly. When you think about each freedom and right individually I can't imagine anyone saying they don't want a single one of those. What anti-gunners are is a massive group of fear based naive children that say they want every single one of those rights except for guns. We live in a world of violence, tyranny and war, the world has always been that way and it always will be that way. Every freedom we have in our Constitution is individually and meticulously being whittled away in small but continuous pieces, not just the 2A. They focus on the 2A because it's the gigantic boulder in the field of tyranny tyrants have to plow around. Freedom is gained by courage and it will only go away due to cowardice and corruption.

Justin S. Exactly. US Constitutional law is rule of law and the law of the land under the Article VI Clause 2 or supremacy clause. The 10th Amendment only exists for states rights to self govern but does not supersede the supremacy clause or US Constitutional law. The 10th Amendment also prevents national government from using unlawful authority over states not given to it by the US Constitution.

I agree. However, carrying the extra weight is a PITA especially when the OAT is, for example, 117 degs F. Now add the weight of the larger caliber ammo along with all of the other gear you have to hump. Then tell me you're having a good time. ;)

I have wondered why I could not have a mortar since the government went to the trouble to train and equip me with a mortar during my Army days. I was bummed out when I couldn't take one home with me. Other guys had machineguns, including M-60's, but I couldn't have a functional mortar. I mean- it wasn't like I was gonna attack the local police station or school playground. I just wanted one in case rioters went crazy on my street in Detroit and started burning down houses! I wanted to protect my neighborhood, man!

I'd recommend an upgrade to .308... Longer range, better accuracy, harder hitting.... Maybe a Ruger SFAR? better yet an old SR762. Maybe even an M1-Garand. If your worried about the weight, go to the gym.
