As the mantra goes, hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times. Never has there been a better time to be a mass murderer, a street criminal, a plotting terrorist, and so on, mainly because Leftward narratives, rhetoric, and policies give the truly malevolent more morale and spiritual leeway to wreak havoc on society, painting potential murderers as "victims of circumstance that the system created", when in REALITY, you simply have those who just plain want to murder people because they can, pure & simple. If the people don't have the means to defend themselves against such evil, that's when the people have truly lost, because the truly evil will always find a way to kill people. Wait until you start getting vehicle-borne IED trends hitting USA...

In all honesty, the original system set up by the founding fathers was supposed to work like this. It was supposed to work in such a way that there was no incentive to be a politician other than the love of country. Politicians weren't supposed to make a lot of money because money corrupts everyone all the time. It was supposed to be a service to your country, a service to your community and then when you were done you go back to your life. Now we have career politicians who are only in politics to make money. All they care about is the next donation and the next election. Don't petition laws based on the neighborhood they're in knowing damn well that those laws won't affect them because they have their own private security and when they're done destroying the area that they govern, they just leave. They never live in the areas that they shit in. Well we need to go back to is politicians with clarity and you're not going to get there until you have citizens with clarity who stop voting for career politicians. Let's be honest everybody just votes based on who they like because of their skin color or the way that they talk in public. Charisma has gotten a lot of people killed.

I wish it were about common sense. The problem is that guys like Colion and all the rest of us can shout it out until we’re all blue in the face, but at the end of the day it’s the leaders who WANT an unarmed society to make it easier to exercise control. The good people need to see and hear this so that they can either rid themselves of those political hacks or either find a different place to live.

As far as I have been aware just about ALL of these "mass shooting" the weapons were all obtained legally meaning a person(suspect or their family members)went submitted to a background check and the clerk handed them their weapon. So NO Laws that have been passed has worked and NONE will work going forward. At what point can we eliminate the laws that we already have that only work on honest people and not on anyone with criminal intentions? It is up to us to protect ourselves since ultimately no one can say who can & who cannot own a firearm for whatever reason. If we are to be a free people then we have to put the blame where it belongs, at the individual's feet that committed the crime and not on all of the other things like the gun, mental health, economic status, etc.

Although to be honest, the folks in the theater would have died regardless of the restrictions. Who would be ready to defend themselves in the middle of a movie before getting shot in the back of the head? All the killer has to do is wait during an action scene with the sound of shooting and other stuff over those loud speakers, and most of the people aren't going to know what is happening before it's too late. Even when you are allowed guns, most people aren't expecting the worst or are prepared to use them at the drop of a hat.

Owning a car is a right just as owning a house, a TV or a hummingbird feeder. One can buy a car without having a license to drive a car. I think that since traveling is a right so should driving be. There was no such thing as a license to ride a horse. Incidentally, we treat someone's driver's license more like a right than we do someone's right to own a gun. Driver's licenses are not revoked unless one is a proven danger to the community and even not always in those cases. I'm sure we've all seen a story about a drunk driver killing someone that had prior drunk driving incidents yet their license wasn't revoked.

Someone with a knife can kill many in a crowd, a car running through a crowd, they will use explosive's etc etc. The only thing eliminating guns 100% does is make us slaves to our government and much easier for foreign countries to invade. If you don't think the fact that so many American's have guns isn't a deterrent to other countries think again. They not only face our military they face the American public. Carrying a gun for "self defense" isn't just about defending one's own person, it's also a civic responsibility for protecting one's own community. The police simply CANNOT do the job by themselves, nor should they have to. In addition to being a last ditch defense to a government gone tyrannical. We are the militia, we have always been the militia. The government, including the police, operate on powers granted to them by the people, for the protection of the common good. In granting the government those rights we DO NOT free ourselves from our duty to protect our communities and our own persons. This is inherent in the concepts of individual liberty and personal responsibility. If you want a well ordered, FREE society, you, the individual, must exercise your rights and take up your responsibilities in protecting that society and upholding its laws. This includes the use of force, it's why it's literally written into EVERY states laws.(despite how much some states have tried to water that down).

"upholding its laws. " ? The GOV paper law pusher's give NO FUCKS about your life. They need the worker ants (us) to work for them so they have grid power water and fuel for them to float through life in a dystopian ignorance to REALITY. Those "LAWs" you speak of usually are put their to manipulate and control other humans. It's a paper noose around our necks. Also laws are fkn useless when the SYSTEM doesn't PUNISH the criminals and allows them to be free for BOND/BAIL. It's all bullshyt. Sometimes street justice seems to weed out the worst in societies.

You're on fire in this one Colion. Their arguments here just don't hold water, especially given the point that this guy targeted a NY store explicitly because of their ridiculous gun laws.

He is a White Supremacist, that targeted elderly black people with the help of other White Supremacist! This was a terrorist attack, and the police "carefully" took him into custody. I wonder why they didn't fear for their lives!

@@apocsyn5889 fair, but you can't police thoughts, you can only police actions, and at that point rhw action has already happened. Best to be prepared to fight rather then be prepared to arrest for thought crimes.

Absolutely spot on ! The more they restrict law abiding citizens from firearms , the more this kind of situation can , does , & will continue to happen .
