3 Star Hero Guide Puzzles and Survival!

Continuing with my video series on heroes for Puzzles & Survival, I will cover the basic importance of 3 star heroes. Like 2 star heroes they are most useful in campaign and arena early in game, however still have usefulness through out late game play. I still use some in my marches. Did you go back and reset your 2 and 3*s? How did you get through the game without maxing them out? I have all my lower levels maxed but wonder if it's worth resetting and then get them to 71.

I actually never reset any heroes. I started the game when it was in beta and actually got lucky with 5* heroes early on from Noah's tavern. So I didn't use my 2 or 3 star heroes very much. It was just luck. I don't think it's necessary to ever really reset heroes but it can be useful in certain situations.

So, merely having these heroes upgraded to the max helps in all of your battles even if you aren’t actively using them ? Or do the heroes actually have to be chosen in your lineup in order for you to get use of their unique skills ?

So some heroes have to be in the lineup while others are effective all the time. Even if they aren't effective all the time it's still a good idea to have them at a high level for other gameplay aspects if and when they are needed. All economy type heroes skills are always effective and some troop type heroes have passive skills which means they are always active. Troop specific heroes that aren't passive are only valid when they are in the march (or on the wall). Many heroes have multiple uses such as for arena or campaign or for having secondary or tertiary marches. So the point being focus on the heroes that you use in the most situations and then focus on your troop specific heroes then your arena specific heroes. Since most heroes are won during different events (their frags) you can level them up simultaneously if you use the events to your advantage. Hope this helps. Good luck!

As far as I know the 2 star blue hero is still available for use. Unless I missed something.

HELP… I’ve been watching a lot of videos, so thank you. They are super helpful. However, I’m running a lvl 23 lair hitting 51%. My friend is getting 55%. I have just over 16 mil might vs just under 13 mil might and larger troop size. She’s running riders and I’m running fighters. Can’t seem to figure out how to move up. We’re both also running t8

Fighters are the hardest to improve lairs on. However an update coming out soon should be correcting that issue. It takes time to improve your stats to complete higher levels. Higher tier troops will also help but stat boosts are the best way.

Hi man. What do you think on this: I'm focusing on riders so i'm thinking of dismanthing champions like Griffin , hartwell , malcom etc. (Shooters & fighters) and exchange those points in Noah tavern's for Fox , Reym or Dom (Riders). Is it worth ? An answer from you will be very helpfull😁

I wouldn't dismantle any heroes just to buy other heroes in Noah's tavern. You'll get them soon enough. And having all the heroes unlocked and levelled up is useful. My personal opinion of course.

Sometimes some flags pop up next to some of the heros faces. What's the meaning of it?

Just means they are in use.

I already have Barbie, Malcom, Chester , Doc Gray and Flint. Which 3 * hero is the best ?(I got a 3 * chest , not sure which to choose from) My Blue heroes already dropped like flies in campaign.. are they naturally weak ?

The color of the hero doesn't inherently make them strong or weak. However if the enemies you are facing are strong against that color then that matters a lot. You want to unlock all the 3* heroes there aren't many that are overpowered in comparison to others. Barbie and doc gray are probably my two top choices.

@@ValenceRing she's a purple , that's a tough choice to replace doc gray for his healing effect in campaign. lol

You can run two purple if necessary. But I look more at the troop boosts. She is a strong economy type hero. But if you're just looking for a campaign hero they are all relatively comparable.

Has this changed? I have a 3 star hero at level 71 and evolution level 3 and it says "evolution limit reached"

Not that I know of. 2, 3 and 4 star heroes have earlier caps then 5 star heroes.

Antiscout is only effective for your sanctuary. It never hides what you have out.

Heroes can't change their star level heroes except 5 star heroes can be upgraded to 6 star (or red star). 3 star heroes will always be 3 star (as for now anyways)

4 star heroes can be won from events and predominantly from Noah's tavern. Intermediate and advanced recruit coins both have a chance to drop 4* heros or hero frags.
