Is Puzzles and Survival being HACKED?!

In light of some new activity on the servers and a lot of discussion between players I wanted to bring you this overview of the information I have on the 'hack' going on in Puzzles & Survival. For the record as of right now there is not a threat or danger to anyone's personal information and it doesn't appear to be a malicious hack. It does appear that a 'bot net' has been set loose though where multiple computers or devices are running automated scripts acting as new players farming for rss and building up. What's the end goal of this bot net? What does it mean for you? So far it doesn't appear to be harmful. Just wanted to give you guys the information I have. Make sure if you see any suspicious activity to report it to CS.

In State 149 there are a good couple hundred bots, their names are usually two random words put together and a few will message players with a resource price sheet. They are good to scout, every now and then you can find one hoarding a ton of rss.

Sorry about that. You have to contact customer service to actually delete an account.

They need to set up bot accounts to keep the state looking active..which means the real player base is dropping..im not surprised

Interesting idea. Doesnt appear to be the reason for the bots but its all speculation at this point.

@ValenceRing I keep getting a message saying that there's some shady stuff going on with Facebook and that they're thinking that they're getting hacked but then nothing ever happens and it's just the same repetitive thing weekly I think that they have it just stuck on repeat and refuse to take it down

Well there are discord accounts and accounts in game that are trying to sell rss or get into others discord accounts. It's still happening and they are trying to slow it down.

There's definitely a lot out there. When I started one of my side accounts in s424 I found myself in a while alliance of bots.

S38 is full of them and they keep leaving tiles partially collected

Bot farms may not be an issue at the moment but I guarantee if it continues it will expand and become a huge issue. No rss squares free, sanctuary attacks etc

And that is definitely one of the concerns. Unfortunately cant predict the future and not sure what the end goal is for the bot net. That is why i do recommend reporting it f you see it to CS.

@@ValenceRing Many years ago I watched the first bot farms start to appear on Runescape, now look at it. People use it to make a living. Rest assured if I see it, I'll report it and then hammer the sanctuary.

Will new resource tiles appear if dirty tiles are left behind

There is some debate about this. So I think new tiles will spawn but it might not be of the level that is wanted. I'm not sure if there is a "limit" on say level 7 tiles so unfinished ones will prevent new ones. The thought is it will but I haven't been able to confirm it.

Yeah a few days ago I got invited to join alliance on the S14

These robots, from what I've seen, will rally to attack a level one lair that is usually 290 kilometers or further away. When you try and mail them, to ask "what the fuck are you doing that for?", you never get a response. At first i thought perhaps to draw my troop away, but it never has been coordinated with any event that could be considered a tactical disadvantage to my alliance. It just seems like a dumb robot doing a ridiculous rally.

Use it before hunting zombies or doing lair rallies. It will reduce your stamina cost. But the boost doesnt last very long so i recommend using it when solo hunting zombies not so much for lairs

@@ValenceRing Hello, I just tried to attack the bot and this is how you get rid of it. You have to keep attacking the enemy wall until it reaches to zero. What it will do when it reaches to zero is the bot’s base is going to fly or be kicked out of any state.

It actually doesn't get kicked out of state. Once the wall reaches zero the sanctuary is randomly ported to another place on the map.

Well i cant speak for other people or their reasons. I just know we were interested in trying something new. We wanted to go to a state where more of our members had a chance in global events. Etc. And mostly for the adventure lol.

Ya i know the feeling lol. That may be different than what i am referring to though. But it may be the same thing. I havent been able to determine if the bots are controlled by a player or automated.

@@ValenceRing it's all possible in Bluestacks multi instance only..(pc software) he made 13 instances and controls only 1 ,rest are just tracking his moves and doing the exact same thing. (will be easier if you watch the video ,ill send link if you want to learn more about it) his main however isn't connected to them, he uses it separately from mobile. he uses bluestacks on PC just for farms.

Generic state names that dont have the dash. Accounts trying to join alliances but dont respond to mail or changing their name. And gathering level 4 rss tiles.

They will also just keeping going to rss tiles in s28 they would go to a tile to gather but would just leave we tried to zero them out but they just cam back the next day

Some do have names. They are weird names though. Tile hitting, leaving dirty tiles. If you see 4 or 5 players from an open alliance all marching on the same tile, they're bots.

S8 was swarming with bots during valiant conquest last week -.- sometimes you could see 6 bots going towards the same tile. It's extremely annoying

I tell you one thing..its definately rigged..if you don't spend big you get nowhere..one of the most expensive games I've seen online..and it's just a basic click and build

I'd have to disagree personally from my own experience, admittedly it is a slower growth rate but I've managed to be on 75M might with no money spent

Hi a report the robot there are 6 in the same alliance like you no there do only tile 3-4 but those a report they whent for the same tile and even the tile IS occupaid by the 1 player they still continue IS this IS not a prouf finaly that alliance do not existe no more y pretty sûre it was only the robot active
