Yup cause... Dont forget that people push their own views on what femininity is and try to use science to back it up as if femininity is defined. Think about all the women you've met in your life that you thought were beautiful and radiated femininity overall and see if they fit this standard.

I'm not sure about the hollowed cheeks shown in the video. Rounded, full cheeks are much more feminizing and youthful. Moreover, the hollowed cheek look, sans buccal fat, that's very hip now, is rather masculine and ages the face considerably. I'm sure higher, more prominent cheekbones are more feminine, but the example shown was the exact opposite.

@@Corecarex It’s about bone versus flesh! High cheekbones + full cheeks are not mutually exclusive and are in fact quite compatible/desirable. A lot of very gorgeous actresses with full cheeks also have high cheekbones, it’s just not super obvious like with Bella Hadid because they didn’t remove a fat pad. Masculine cheekbones protrude more towards the sides of the face rather than more “upwards” (idk how to explain, looking at diagrams helps) so if you have high cheekbones and get buccal fat removal, your lower third will look slimmer, protruding the cheekbones to a degree that is a little uncanny in most cases.

I'm sad that that's apparently considered "less feminine looking". If she doesn't look feminine enough, what do I look like then?😢 No, girls don't need make up or fillers to look "feminine". @@user-ex3nl8k0l According to whom? Bro, what in the world are "peak feminine features"? This video doesn't even make sense. Have you seen the comments? Higher cheek bones are more feminine? lol. Fuller lips are more feminine? No they are not, this is a beauty trend right now in the USA and Western Europe, this is not what makes a woman generally "feminine". Although I'm from Western Europe I'm not dumb to think our beauty trend is the golden rule for 50% of the world's population. I for example think high cheekbones are not pretty and I think big lips suit men more than women, because a woman looks better with more subtle and balanced features. See? Even among individuals "feminine features" are differently perceived and judged. My boyfriend has a lot fuller lips and higher cheeckbones than me and obviously he is more masculine than me, because these are also masculine features that happen to be the trend for women right now. They are not general feminine features.

@@user-iq9dd4kk9n the first comment is actually right. Femininity looks different around the world, science does not have the ultimate answer to what femininity looks like. In some cultures the more rings and elongated neck a woman has, the more feminine she appears. In other cultures the more fatter a woman appears, the more feminine she looks. While in other cultures they see having a full face more feminine (like in Korea)etc. This video ascribes to what the west deems as feminine and even that is still inaccurate because the second girl would be seen as more feminine in places like Italy, Spain, Brazil etc since she has more dark features. Most science research is done in the Western world that’s why science idea of beauty and femininity is so westernised. To me the second girl looks feminine, she even has the features this channel said are feminine (full lips and high cheek bones). The first girl looks too instagrammy to me she doesn’t look like real.

I find the contrast thing to be SO true. I don't have a lot of natural contrast on my face. Medium brown skin, and my lashes and brows are very thin and my lips are close to my skin color. Baby, let me tell you when I discovered eye liner..... it changed the game. Now my makeup routine includes lips, eyes and eyebrows (nothing on my actual skin) and I feel like I go up 2-3 points on the beauty scale just like that. I feel like I'm average--pretty in a way that can be easily dressed up to be more beautiful. I'm happy with what I got, with my only contention being that I can't seem to grown my hair past my shoulders. I wear extensions sometimes but I just wish I could wake up with long, strong, shiny hair. It’s important because everyone is not shaped the same way, even if long hair is considered feminine world wide does not mean long hair is the best options for your features. Short hair is more feminine for some people than long hair. If you have very strong bone structure, super short hair is great because it doesn’t contrast with your bones. Long, flowing, soft hair on a strong bone structure doesn’t compliment each other well. Short hair doesn’t contrast with the bone structure and let’s the feminine features do all the work. Similarly short hair also works for those with a baby face. Babies don’t have a lot of hair but imagine a baby in a long wig. It’s obviously too much for the face. The short hair blends with the baby face rather than contrasts with it.

assigning certain visual traits as “feminine” or “masculine” sound completely arbitrary at this point. who cares, your face is your face and it functions to keep you alive and well, and that all that matters
@DragonQuest27 Жыл бұрын
It IS arbitrary, it changes among different societies and over time, but sadly it have a lot of influence in how people treat you, so it's not that simple as chosing to not care about it.

A lot of these are actually more masculine traits, historically. High contrast features, prominent bone structure, full lips, these are down to testosterone. Estrogen creates a smaller mouth, rounder softer features and cheeks that are more centered.

@@cameronbethea123ude the first girl’s classic feminine look are lip fillers, lip lines to over line the lips to appear fuller and a nose job. The second girl also has full lips and on top of that she has high cheek bones. This channel itself has repeatedly said that research said full lips and high cheek bones are the most feminine features. The second girl also has softer features to me, she has rounder cheeks, rounder softer eyes and a rounder nose. She has more of a welcoming warm face. The first girl features looks angular to me, too pointy nose and a pointy chin, overall her face looks boney to me which can be described as “masculine”. The second girl’s rounder face is considered more feminine in eastern cultures because it represents youthfulness.

This is why I like your channel, because you understand there is a range of objective attractiveness and not everyone wants exactly the same thing. ❤

No. He gave options that anyone are free to take if they want to achieve a certain look. Some women naturally look feminine, while some have masculine features. @@rrrr-im9oz they might boost your attractiveness in highly edited Instagram posts just like the Kardashians for eg but in real life it genuinly looks really bad and fake. You can ALWAYS tell and no one talks about how people are immediately put off when they see someone whos has plastic surgery on their face, it makes you seem untrustworthy, fake and not yo be taken seriously. Totally depends on what you really want. Femininity is classically more centred around softness and lushness. Soft, full round cheeks, soft, fluffy hair and soft, low contrast features. Anything harsh, sleek, or sculpted is less feminine than soft and rounded. The video is more about how to be striking or alluring.
