Your videos are like a breath of fresh air, because they're the total opposite of my old mindset, which got me into this CFS mess in the first place (overthinking, perfectionism, needing to fix every problem now etc.) My key takeaway today is: Stop treating your CFS like an emergency (which I have been doing until today!) Thank you!

Great as usual, Toby! Biggest takeaway? All of it! Overwhelm is the biggest killer of recovery, clarity creates confidence, and, its not what you do, its how you do it. Wow. That's alot to think on! Thanks for always providing new videos!! Different perspectives/ways of explaining land differently on different days, so it's all important!! 😊

Another thought provoking & relevant post Toby.... Thing is when you're already struggling, then you have financial worries, getting hassle to find work or risk loosing your home it's extremely difficult to just sail through it & not let it affect your body/stress levels further when it's constant. If you have support from family, friends etc it's easier, but when you're going through this totally alone it's not that easy.... But I do understand what you mean by OVERLOAD... 😊

Good timing as usual Toby, recently I have been experiencing overwhelm. I’m not sure why but it is as you say, my whole being is asking for my response and response is as you say, to step back and go to a place of calmness with in ourselves 🙏 My mornings used to be full of anxiety and low key subtle depression which as long as I stayed in a place of calmness these feelings and sensations, faded as the day progressed to the point that they are virtually gone now🙏 In their place, acute overwhelm has now become very prominent. I am now doing more than I used and I believe that it is as you are saying, my brain and body are looking for a response from me and my response is, to step back into a place of calmness. I take this opportunity to lay down and listen to my Healing meditation music that I have and go into Breathing into the Rhythm of the Music and the overwhelm starts fading a lot quicker and faster than my anxiety and subtle depression ever did 🙏 I am also at a good place now for when Viruses hit me big or small, they give me a chance to step back and take 10 days out to recover. The last minor virus I had still had me feeling that this it I’m done and I won’t be able to get back to my scheduled movements or my scheduled breathing sessions that I do but at the time it was too much but just before my 10 days were up, I eased slowly back into my routines of movement and in a couple of days I was back to normal and my baseline had also slightly increased, I creased my activities around our home in an appropriate way but then the overwhelm kicked in and so a new structure of balance has been implemented 🙏 What keeps me going is your words “Healing isn’t easy and at times it gets harder”, it would be heck of a lot easier if I was in your program and had your continued guidance but hey ho, your guidance has always been gratefully received and even more so now 🙏 I will be forever grateful and thankful for the guidance you so freely give, it is a True Godsend and priceless Toby 🙏

Thank You Toby, with the continued Guidance you give it is helping more than I can put into words 🙏 There are so many nuggets in this podcast but for me the big one is to get ourselves into a rehabilitation state. This is how I am progressing day by day 🙏 Everything you share is so beneficial, thank you 🙏

Thank u Toby for a great advise and i love and believe from a God's prospective (also u mentioned God too while asking for help) we will be going through tests and trials in our lives and when we step back (from overwhelming) , in our recovery aiming for a state how God made us being healthy, loved and content, then we will be out of our cfs, ..my faith is helping me, that my God will never leave me or forsake me..and i repeat uplifting scriptures from God's Word which nurturing me and giving strength...your advice is pretty much aligning with what i just said..God bless you for your help and valuable information.

Is this same concept long Covid and cfs ?
@CFSHealthАй бұрын
Yes the recovery process is the same for LC, Fibro, CFS, POTS etc
@penneymcnutt4413Ай бұрын
In my opinion - yes. They're both post viral syndromes (CFS is thought by many to be a post viral syndrome after having EBV or some other virus).
