I'm sorry, but fibro has left me with a severe light sensitivity, and that light bulb over your right (to me) shoulder is causing me to turn away.

I love the cave analogy, I feel like it will be useful when I get to that point of questioning and struggling over why my body is feeling/reacting this way and hopefully keep my mind from spiraling into a depression or hopelessness about this condition. I had to consistently tell my myself over the period of 2 years ( with really no support/understanding of this condition ) that I just need to rest , instinctually it was what I knew I needed to do. Finding the " sweet spot " and asking for support is now the goal. Thank you

CFS and fibro are the same disease, caused by phosphate retention. Look up Dr St Amands book and watch Tender Points Documentary. You can reverse three symptoms on the guaifenesin protocol ❤

Thanks for your videos ! It really helps cause here in France it's very tough to find help and answers.. I have a question: Do you know why exactly after a workout during the day, when we didn't really feel exhausted, we still have a night crash with insomnia? It's really frustrating.

Thank you. This makes so much sense the more i listen to it. Does the program teach you how to find a baseline? Can you do baseline if working full or part time ? The working day demands vary so much. I have been crashing and pushing for 3 years since got covid. Thank you

Great video! I saw the ME/CFS team through the NHS and they talked about quite a few of these things, but I didn’t feel they emphasised the importance of not doing ‘less is more’ for too long. Thank you 👍

@@moiramilne878 it would depend on your locality. Not all NHS boards will have a dedicated team for ME/CFS unfortunately

Wow what a great video I've been crashing and burning for many years too, with highs and lows more lows than highs now. only the last couple years I've been paying attention more to the signs cuz my body makes me. lol This makes so much sense and I've known this for a long time it's just putting it to practice I guess the universe is telling me it's time.🙄

I push and crash all the time and have done for years. What you say makes sense, but it's getting myself out of a mentallity, a way of being to discipline myself even to do small and often

What an infuriating, demeaning, and moronic video by someone who clearly doesn't have a damn clue about ME/CFS. You did not have this illness as you suggested, I think you just got sleepy and needed a 10 minute nap. Please shut the hell up, and never post anything on this topic again. Do something more useful with your life like going for a walk, read a book, have a cold glass of water, take a warm shower, and before you know it you'll be much less of an uninformed jackass. Wishing you the best! ❤

Toby could you please elaborate more on baseline, I’ve watched free videos on the website but I still struggle to understand. If my threshold is 20 min, does it mean that I should only be active for 20 a day??? But that’s crazy and impossible. Please help me to understand more this baseline thing… should I restrict myself from doing things… but then I become too obsessed with whether I’m doing everything right

Toby, this is amazing! Very informative and helpful. Clarity is excellent. I have passed this on to 4 people here in Australia who have been diagnosed with CFS and someone in the US. I am already in your paid program and have found it life- changing. Your generosity and sincerity is astounding. Thank you.

I love that, "unfit athlete." I'll have to remember that. When she talked about her glands being a sign of overdoing, I thought of a check engine light coming on in the car. I wish you guys could have a lottery for a mentorship. I'm in Canada, but if I was allowed I'd buy a ticket!!

Yes, and going through it when you are 1 of 2 of the primary caregivers for your mother with severe Alzheimer's, it's really hard. She has been getting violent, so is now in the hospital. I am absorbing this and now starting to take steps to take care of myself. I'm starting to feel a little hope now.

I tried the Gupta program, with no success - is CFS Health considerably different in its approach?
@CFSHealth7 күн бұрын
Absolutely very different. This is a full comprehensive holistic approach covering every aspect of recovery. Not just one technique focused on brain retraining. We believe a holistic approach is needed in recovery with a body/brain focus. Not the other way around. Watch the above training to get a broad overview.

I've not heard anything new from the doctor here..I guess as I'm 46 years in I've learnt so much....but it's good to listen to a doctor who knows her stuff...she sees how things are connected. Hearing Toby's observations/ learnings as someone who has recovered...I'm finding very exciting. It's made me want to get serious again about getting well. I'm usually a motivated person but at times I just give up and pretend it's normal...I'm so used to it...
