3 Things You Can Make From Aerosol Spray Cans

If you have empty aerosol spray cans lying around, don't throw them away just yet.
There are a few useful things you can make.
In this video, I made a pulley, a handle and a spinning toy.

You could use a can opener to cut top and bottom of can. It gives you a clean cut

That's a great idea, but I am not sure if it would work. I tried to hit the spinning toy with a screwdriver. It did not sound...well it did, but not loud enough to function as a bell. Maybe different type of can would work better 🔔

I am currently trying to chop up a butane can for a project. The area around the vent is built like a bank vault. Its like 3 different pieces of stamp pressed steel, in consecutive rings. Its tough as nails.

It's a bottom and top part of the can. I call it a "disk", even though it's not an official name for it. I cut them off and then glued both pieces together.

Yes, I was actually going to do it. Not with the spinning top, but with the actual can. BUT I decided no to. I must admit, spinning top - lamp would look much cooler than just a can-lamp. Great idea!

I would make some oil/grease/fat lamps! Cut can in half for home lamp or just the two top, bottom, and nozzle, fill with a bit of oil and put a piece of hemp, rope, wick, thru the nozzle and... -bam!!! Now you're rocking it!! Engineering Hobo style life hacks!!! You could even add a reflector to focus and intensify the light; So... (HEY!!! Put the glass pipe down for one d#mn second! we ain't done yet!! ut the cylinder in half lengthwise and attach it with the shiny concave(inside) part to the flame. It will light up your life!! Because who wouldnt want to add more light to shine upon all the marvelous freedoms and your collection of soda tabs, yogurt lids, and pickle jars still filled with brine to keep afloat your most favorite of feces!
