If you want to keep a scene just for audio rather than delete the elemtns, in this example the Deesser and limter, you could just select the eye icon next to each and deselect, effectively acts as a switch for the elements in the scene. Keep up the great work, thanks.

Great video Reid. I am using an Apollo x4 and Luna as my DAW...I want to use the Apollo and my iMac for giving vocal coaching so the client can hear me perfectly when I sing, and, hears the playback track that is in luna, or, my piano that is also coming from Luna. Do I have to get ORB but if not do I have to make changes in my Apollo to do that, or, can I leave all my settings just the way it is and direct the sound to zoom or even whatsapp video call? - The next thing is the signal coming from my client. They may use a computer or their phone with the mic that is build in the device. What I get now is that when they sing the sound gets very choppy or disappears because of the volume or that zoom and whatsapp recognize it as background noise and mutes it. Something goes very wrong. I know it can be done to get a good sound from both sides - my question is; how do they do that, and how can I do that using my Apollo and my iMac. I would be very grateful if you could help me with it 🙂

Do you have any advice on how to make my singing voice sound more like it's in a live room on my live stream? I actually had someone mix a sample vocal for me using the mic I use, but it still sounds like it's exposing too much or it's too in your face on the live stream. Not sure how to explain it, it's like you can hear way more of any type of imperfections in my vocals. I'm not a new singer so it's not because I don't know how to sing. I have reverb on it akready. Should I add like a chorus to make it sound more wide? Or add a left & right track of my vocals on top of the main one? This is just me singing and playing keys by the way.

Sounds like your voice is possibly too loud over the beat if nothing sounds good when adding reverb and compression

@@ReidStefanMusic Do you have a video explaining this process or do you have a video of your configuration with an actual loopback hardware? @ReidStefanMusic3 жыл бұрын
I often bypass the Loopback app and use an optical cable to loop my Apollo’s output back in as an input using SPIDF. Only Apollo x4 and x8 have these SPIDF ports tho… this is like a physical “loopback” solution instead of an app
@creatorcomforts64013 жыл бұрын
Loopback isn't free, but is awesome and is macOS only. On Windows, OBS can usually use "desktop audio" in the global audio settings.
@creatorcomforts64013 жыл бұрын
@@ReidStefanMusic If you haven't tried it, UAD Console "Virtual" channels should also work to capture desktop audio instead of using Rogue Amoeba's Loopback. A lot of newer usb audio interfaces also have a built-in loopback feature. The key is that OBS only sees the first 2 channels of any audio device.
