Distance has made all the difference for me when break up necessary!! Moving is good also! As long as I don't see the individual my healing is faster! Though I've dealt with seeing one living in close proximity because of circumstances!! Great advice on ways to heal! I agree relationship can still be maintained if the proper boundaries are set with people, at work and at church. Life is about choices and all choices that are made do not have to be made around a relationship that has ended. It can sometimes go even deeper. An ex and I reconnected years ago & we broke up over something so small & we both failed to come together and solve it. We just recently saw each other after 16 years and we both agreed that we wish we had come together & worked it out. He’s married now & just admitted to me that after all these years he’s not ready to say farewell. That small moment that we rested our eyes upon each other after 16 years, was like fireworks & we both ended up telling each other later after seeing one another that we had to take a moment where we had to take a deep breath. He won’t say it & neither will I, but I know without a doubt we both have so much to talk about and heal from & it weighs so heavy that we also realized we still love each other.

Well I had to cut off a casual relationship that wasn’t going anywhere. I gave him too much leave way. He wasn’t ready for a relationship (most likely didn’t want me) and I just had to bounce. It was hard because he was a provider, I wanted more but he couldn’t. I also believe I was the other women but he just wouldn’t come clean even though he was going through a nasty divorce.

it's been over 4 years this nov 2024.. it's been back n forth talking then not talking. him blocking me and me reaching out on another number. it's been me reaching out bc I can't move on. he'll do things to be disrespectful or not stop sleeping with others etc. yrs, he isn't my man so he can be with others. however, if that's one of the things I hate him doing and it causes fights or arguments bc he will lay with another woman or lay relationship with another woman then ask me to be there for more than sex then yeah I'm going to have things I want myself from him on things then. so yeah, I have done or said things I'm not perfect that has been toxic or disrespectful to him or bothers him. it's never been me sleeping with another man or me chasing another man over him or time with him though but he'll do it to me. he tells me I push him to where he feels comfortable sleeping with another female smh. he would still entertain any other female even if i never mentioned anyone of them to him. so yes, I am the one that keeps trying to get things to still happen between us. eventhough it can't be anything committed on his end. I really need a session with you fr. smh. if I would stop I honestly feel I'd never hear from him. we've argued at times and he has been the one to reach out but majority of times. it's been me after 3 days or longer of not hearing from him. like I just called and no answer, we ain't talked in 5 days after an argument and I ain't seen him in 2 weeks since I came and brought him to my place. yes he doesn't work, no vehicle. lives with family
