One invariable lesson I've learnt from Navie is simplicity & intentionality 👌.. Navie's use of textures to create these super distinctive melodies is unmatched 🔥🔥💯.. Simplicity really is the ultimate sophistication. Thank you Navie! 🙌

using halftime with turned down mixlevel can really be a gamechanger. it also creates a more complicated melody and gives the melody more movement

How is halftime different from grossbeat exactly?
@PRODBYS1LENT2 жыл бұрын
@@jokmenen_ halftime is just a more in-depth version of a single gross beat preset. Gross beat only has a 1/2 speed preset but halftime has multiple settings such as 4x and 1.5x and you can adjust it more to fit your melody. Halftime also sounds a bit better in my opinion but gross beat works fine

@thefinstasis2 жыл бұрын
@@Sergio-nb4hj it is not a bad thing, it just has something to do with tastes. Even though Navie D is a great teacher and I like the way his beats sound, I highly doubt that those beats land placements with trap artists. I'd categorize the last beat as DLE trap or shadow trap. A lot of the underground scene in my city makes a combo of the three styles presented here, I always thought that they were not all that unique. I guess Night Lovell, Kellbender, BONES, Fifty Grand, etc. were part of the collective rap consciousness by now. If anyone is interested, take the drums from beat number two, the melodic rhythms of one, and the sound selection of three and you'll get what a lot of producers from Minnesota are exploring currently.
