Thank you Jane - absolutely loved the pot noodle idea. Lately I have been preparing and making overnight oats in a large glass jar for the camper fridge - I make enough for about 5 days at one time which makes breakie so easy and we are quickly out and about exploring - I use oats - chia seeds - maple syrup - lactose free yoghurt and a lactose free milk - however you can really add whatever you like, to suit your own taste - in the morning I mash up a banana and stir through our oats then I add fruit, berries, nuts and seeds. Best of all we are filled up until lunch time so our Covid weight is now heading in the right direction - a bonus. Stay safe and well and so lovely to see you in your Myrtle xx

Oh yea, those beloved covid pounds 🤦 Love overnight oats and you're right, the different flavours you can add to them means you'll never get bored of it!

I make oats with light coconut milk or cream, I add a tablespoon of coconut , a squirt of , no sugar maple syrup , add fruits and yogurt in the morning

I love the look of the cheese and carrot rolls. I've had a variation that swaps the carrot for spring onion, and it's super tasty. Unfortunately when we camp we don't have a fridge or cool box, so it's a lot of tinned and dried foods that need hot water or reheating. I'd love some no cook, no fridge options.

Another non-cook one is: tomatoes cut up, with olive oil and chopped fresh basil, with salt and pepper, just on its own, it’s gorgeous. 😁👍

My favourite no cook camping recipes are salads - you can buy mixed leaves at the supermarket, add tomatoes, olives and tuna. You can also buy the ready cooked pouches of rice and add them too. I wanted to ask, where do you get the smoked tofu from? I’m not sure I’ve seen it in any supermarkets.

I've only ever seen this brand in Waitrose, it's 100% worth hunting it down. I'm not a fan of tofu generally, but this one is 👌 It usually comes with 2-3 months of fridge life which makes it a gem for stashing right at the back f the fridge till needed!

Loving the cheese and carrot 👍. My favourite no cook is similar to your platter, cheese, crackers, carrot batons, pepper slices, olives, hummus, tomatoes, whatever I have in. Usually with a glass of wine 😉. I'm definitely trying the homemade noodles 👍 I love miso. Must get that tofu 👍. Thank you 😊

Oh Sue, that tofu is 👌 I've even been known to slice it and eat it straight from the pack (and you wouldn't get me doing that with any other tofu!). I've only found it in Waitrose so far, let me know if you find it elsewhere x

Oooooh, love this idea H1! Maybe I need to do a no cook camping puds next 🤔 Guitar is actually good. I mean, I still can't play it or anything, but I am practising every single day, my fingers have toughened up and my chord changes are (very) slowly getting smoother.

My no cook meal would be thick peanut butter on buttered whole wheat bread, a tin of fruit salad (the kind with the pull ring), and a 2 L bottle of Diet Pepsi. My 12 V cooler can hold five 2 L bottles, but I wouldn't take all that. But I could put the loaf of bread in along with the fruit salad and the non-hydrogenated margarine. Mum always called marg butter, so I do too. I tried tofu in the 70s. It tasted like a rubber eraser. Yuck. I'll stick to food I know. Jon in rural BC, Canada
