Moms not knowing where to draw a line with their child as regards disclosing information about their childhood and current trauma. Forcing their child to grow up faster than necessary, develop personality issues, always trying to make everyone around them feel better at the expense of their well-being. They're children. You shouldn't treat them as though they're stupid, and you should help them learn by staying at a level that's graspable with effort. Here, as sweet as it is to hear her daughter say she wants her, this toddler was just introduced to the developmentally-inappropriate concept that some mommies don't want their children and give them away instead. This is the sort of thing that, the night after the next time you discipline them, you'll be walking out of their room after putting them to bed and hear, "Are you going to give me away to a different mommy?" (You're also liable to hear them ask a peer they discover is adopted why their mommy didn't want them.) A _lot_ of parents have seen this after (innocently) telling their children something like, "Don't worry. It didn't hurt. Grandpa just fell asleep and never woke up." Days later, as their child is falling asleep at the table (again), they ask why they're so sleepy and find out that their child has been scared to fall asleep at night, "In case I don't wake up, like Grandpa!"

@@a.r.m.y.chinghu926 I’m not saying make your child watch cartel videos or anything here lol. Just talk to them like people and not like a dog dumbing down words all of the time. I have a 5 year old that does 200 piece puzzles by herself and picked up how to ride a bike with no training wheels within a week. She’s well aware of how to use certain words. They’re curious and sort of like a sponge when it comes to things said around them. So I’m not saying be brutally honest 24/7 but don’t shy away from telling them things when they ask about it. Doesn’t do them any good and if you don’t straighten out the answers to questions that they ask, they’ll find their answer somewhere else. Yes but watch out bc as they get older they start saying things like I don't want you, leave me alone, all the way to i hate you. And all the comments I saw here nurture those feelings that are gonna feel so much harder when they do the opposite. Just know that it's a part of development and do your best never to take it too personally. They don't know how it feels on the other end. Or maybe they do and are just trying to cause as much pain as they can. If you treat them with compassion but boundaries that demand respect, they will come around (or perhaps they need mental healthcare).

Friends, Please listen: ❤️ GOD of the universe has been there with you, known every aspect of your soul and mind before you were born: all your hairs are numbered; all tears kept; sadnesses remembered, memories since birth and childhood: even today He waits for you to open the door of your Heart, that you will accept His Generous Gift of Salvation! The Son is eternal and uncreated, He Became Incarnate and Came to earth with a single Purpose: The Mighty Plan of Salvation for all mankind who listens and accepts. The LORD Jesus paid the penalty for your sins and mine on the Cross *(Matthew 27)* 2023 years ago, Resurrecting on the 3rd day *(Matthew 28)* to show you that by the same Power will His Loving and Committed followers inherit Heaven on Earth and of course for eternity by His Grace and Mercy. He was seen! That is what we call Salvation from the torment of hell (which is eternal damnation, and worse: complete separation from The Holy LORD. Those who keep on ignoring Him hate Him, and at least as of now don't want anything to do with The LORD-they are dead now and will remain dead in hell). We *deserve* punishment for our sinful dirty nature, but The Lord YAHWEH is Forgiveness Himself: He washes His followers with Holy Blood through Christ Jesus, caressing us with undeserved Mercy that we may become His children. 😊 Therefore Repent and Believe, you, and receive The Spirit of Truth Who will Dwell in you and Be always within you! • Jeremiah 1:5 _"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart (...)."_ • Matthew 10:29-31 _"Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? Yet not one of them falls on the ground without the knowledge of your Father. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear; you are more valuable to GOD than many sparrows."_ • Psalms 56:8 _"You keep track of all my sorrows, You have collected all my tears in Your bottle, You have recorded each one in Your book."_ • Revelation 3:20 _"Behold! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My Voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."_ • John 11:25-26 _"Jesus says: I am The Resurrection and The Life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?"_ • John 5:24-25 _"Verily, verily, I say unto you: whoever hears My Word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal Life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to Life. Verily, verily, I say unto you: a time is coming and now has come when the dead will hear the Voice of The Son of GOD and those who hear will live."_ • Romans 6:5 _"For if we have been united in the likeness of His death, we will certainly be also reunited with Him in the likeness of His Resurrection."_ • Ephesians 2:8 _"For it is by Grace you have been saved-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of GOD."_ ° James 2:26 _"For as body without spirit is dead, so is Faith without works dead also."_ • Romans 6:23 _"For the wages of sin in is death, but the gift of GOD is of eternal Life in Christ Jesus our LORD."_ • Revelation 1:5 _"And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and The Ruler of the kings on earth. To Him Who Loves us and freeds us from our sins by His Blood, (...)"_ • Hebrews 9:14 _"How much more then will the Blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to GOD, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may Serve The living GOD!!"_

I knew what we were doing was right when my niece, at 5 years old, corrected her uncle, that she never met before. He tried to demean her response for not automatically hugging him when he said he was her uncle. She replied " no, your a stranger. I don't know you." Yeah, I laughed all in his face, not ashamed either.

I was adopted at birth. My birth mother couldn't mentally handle children. She was slow and only had the mental capacity of a 14 year old and Men took advantage of her. So her cousin adopted me. She told me year's later. "I wanted you very much I love you! But they said I couldn't take care of you cause I'm not smart." It broke My heart. She's a beautiful person and we have a great relationship. Everything happens for a reason. God's plan for your life isn't always what you want but it's what's Best.

Thank you. I’m adopted too and I hated how this mother unjustly maligned her biological mother to her child. It’s far more likely that she couldn’t take care of her or wasn’t allowed to. Now the child has an image of anyone who gives up a child as being in the wrong. I’d hate to be an adoptive parent of a child in the daughter’s class, as she might unwittingly say something unkind at any time.

I know a little boy who was adopted at birth, same situation, his parents both couldn’t mentally handle children, I didn’t know too much more other than that but it ended up perfect because the little boy not only looks just like his adoptive parents, but his adoptive parents had been trying for a baby for many years and they just couldn’t get pregnant so They raised him so well and then all of a sudden, his birth parents got pregnant again! And they were able to adopt that little baby as well, a baby girl. So now he has a full blood sister and although I feel for the woman who can’t care for her babies, I’m happy they ended up with the perfect people.

At first I thought to myself “she’s too young to hear that” but I remember being confused about why my sister was always going to this weird place every week until my parents told me “someone bad hurt your sister, so she’s seeing someone that’s helping her” after that I was much more caring towards my older sister (someone molested her and she was going to therapy twice a week. they told me the whole story when I was much older) She told her in a light way without too much detail. That’s the way to do it! She’s a lucky girl having a beautiful mother like her. Thanks for sharing the video

Cudos to your parents for making sure your sister received intensive therapy. And what a lovely sibling you are for being so supportive. Hope your sister is doing well. The same happened to me when I was 11 but my father had anger issues and my mum was too scared to tell him. I suffered in silence resulting in a disrupted, chaotic life as an adult. By the time I went to therapy as an adult, my thought patterns etc was very much established. I'm 53 and its still an ongoing battle against / process to try and change my hurt self.

It’s crazy how the mom wasn’t upset or sad about telling her daughter that her mom didn’t want her. But the little girl had the emotional intelligence to a) see that a mother giving up her child can hurt the child. And b) impose herself as a solution to her mother’s pain. All in a matter of a few seconds. Humans are amazing. It’s like you lose the ability to realize that we’ve always been very emotionally intelligent creatures. You don’t just wake up one day with adult emotions. We’re all born with compassion.

As someone that was adopted- it’s not sad lol. if a mother doesn’t want a kid but gives birth, the responsible thing to do is give it to someone that CAN raise it properly. It’s not like we were abandoned. They gave us up because they wanted better for us. Keeping the baby would be the selfish thing to do, if the mother isn’t ready/doesn’t desire to be a mom. People don’t realize that.
