I'm so happy I found this template. I've been trying to make an FPS with MM's FPS template and I just couldn't get it to work with 2 hands, or really anything. I'm hoping this template helps me learn to either use that or make my own. I also want to make an FPS where you can also drive vehicles... Let's see how well that goes

very well put, and thank you for sharing your amazing dreams with us. There's something very special about this software that I refuse to call a mere "game". Can't wait to see it truly shining on a PS5 edition and perhaps even pc - it would be best to become a game engine on its own.

Very interesting video. And yes, don't stop creating. Who knows but wouldn't be surprised if they finally come up with some way to monetize the games. Either by exporting them to the PS Store or/and to the PC. It is possible.

Definitely! I expect in-game monetization personally. I think Mm is trying to build a platform, something like Roblox, but with a hopefully more ethical approach to money lol.

How would you make an enemy ai track and shoot at you when you are above or below them? I tried putting a follower on the emitted bullet but that was problematic. I watched plenty of your videos, and I've seen you do this in your games but haven't heard you cover this in particular.

@intrattackout2 жыл бұрын
It's definitely possible that I'll make a stealth game at some point. The idea I like the most is making it VR. Think a lot of tension can be gained from physically checking corners and trying to avoid or sneak up to enemies!

Bro your works is AMAZING! It is remixable? I try to make a TPS but i need more logic example. Shooting mechanics and bullet logic is magnific, i want to learn more from your works.
@intrattackout2 жыл бұрын
All my games are based on my FPS template, so that's probably the best place to start! I have also made some pretty nice enemy templates recently. Third person shooters are definitely harder to make because of all the animations!
@fabionobile7202 жыл бұрын
@@intrattackout Third person shooters are definitely harder to make due to all the animations! I agree, and that's exactly why I'm working on it. I created one a while ago based on Uncharted, the biggest problem I encountered is the difficulty in centering the bullets with the center of the screen. I will find a way and send you the creation directly in Dreams;)
@intrattackout2 жыл бұрын
@@fabionobile720 Haha coincidently I've also been trying some Uncharted style TPS stuff. For damage I often use a head/camera tracker (the VR one). It has a built in laser scope that looks straight forward from the center in flat screen. For hitscan I just emit emit a damaging health modifier at the hit location. Or make enemies detect the laser and do internal damage. You can also teleport a projectile emitter sphere to the gun of the character and use a look at rotator to make it look at the hit location of the head trackers laser! I now use a system like that for both my FPS and enemy templates.

Hello I have 2 questions 1 is it possible to use blender for dreams ? 2 i really like one day to make call of duty zombie map on dreams do you think in dreams will work to make it exactly like og cod zombies ? If someone know about scripting ?
@VantaBlack-UG2 жыл бұрын
Programming such a game in Dreams is possible. maybe even faster than with a normal engine, but you can't get close to the graphics of the original. Dreams has its own style which is good nonetheless. Blender is not possible with dreams

I have a question… I just started dreams maybe 2 months ago, I’m not done with the tutorials yet but, how did you get so good??? And was it hard?
@intrattackout2 жыл бұрын
The initial difficulty curve is very steep because you'll probably want base knowledge in everything to create any kind of end product. Once you get over the initial bump you can get into a loop of creating better and better stuff and it's really rewarding. The most important thing is to not be too ambitious and start as simple as possible. For logic the best thing you can do is reverse engineer things made by Media Molecule or the community. I already knew a decent amount of logic from LittleBigPlanet, but Dreams is a lot more complex. If you want to get into creating directly, the community has made a ton of stuff at this point to help you with it. I have made drag and drop FPS/enemy templates for example.

Instead of trying to poorly recreate rip-offs of other games why doesn’t someone try to take all the best parts from different games that made them great and make a game from that, like you literally recreated aim assist 🤮 I know it’s hard and it takes a lot of time. But you end up making a game where it’s just has some charm. For example the momentum from halo, physics feel from GTA 4 the tactical style and nice animations from msg v, the npc lives from elder scrolls oblivion the working out from GTA sa and the fighting styles and customization from GTA sa stuff like that why don’t game developers do things like this there just like let’s try making some platform bs or the same game with one new mechanic and better graphics. Video games creators aren’t creative that’s why dreams is sick
